  • Dilla beat are all that is pure in this world

  • @KShineofRLK Nate Dogg on the hook is that a joke? I hope that was a joke

  • @RemedyBiz That comment sounds quite disrespectful to the great late nate dogg. Show a bit of respect to the lost ones. I am a huge fan of ND. No it wasn't a joke. They sound strikingly similar to me. J Dilla must have been hella talented with the vocals too if that was really him singing in that rich, soulful, baritone style.

  • @KShineofRLK Yeah, J dilla was a great singer. Apparently, there were plans for him to make an all singing album.

  • Its kinda scary if you think "what if Dilla was still alive?"....could yall imagine what kind of insane shit he would have.....wack niggas wouldnt stand a chance.

  • @BeatzOnCleatz Soulja who?

  • Repeat! R.I.P J DILLA.....

  • The part at the end where he jumps off the building and turns into a flock of birds is amazing. Set free.

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR . LADYS STEP WITH ME. whole body bling$ like 3po

  • Nate Dogg on the chorus? sounds like him. Anyways chillest beat I've ever heard. I've gotta check out some of his other works. Definitely putting him up on my list of influential hip-hop producers.

  • @KShineofRLK Its all j Dilla... He was an All-around beast.. he can sing, rhyme, and make the sickest beats... he re-invited his style of production like a million times... almost every beat he made sounds completely different than the other.. no producer has that type of talent sept Nottz today.. J Dilla was easily hip-hop's biggest lose... he had so much talent that was over looked

  • @MoodMuzikFilez He was so dope man. Rip J Dilla. Humbly, I say I have a few of these traits too as I'm a producer/rapper studying the entire game to learn from the greatest mcs & producers. Creating quality instrumentals is not as easy at it seems especially when you are a perfectionist. Definitely will take some more time & experience, I'm only 20. Producing since 13. I'll do all styles of hip-hop but I'm taking my time to master a particular style.

  • @MoodMuzikFilez the only person that can see Dilla that is alive today is Madlib. End of discussion.

  • @MaladroitMola Nottz is more rounded than Madlib.. do your research.. he's known as the best producer in the industry today cause he can make any type of beat like J Dilla... he's is pretty much today's J Dilla.. the way he flips samples too... maybe you should listen to Nottz as much you listen to Madlib

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Seriously open your eyes. There is NO fucking way he flips samples more creative than Madlib. Today's Madlib isn't that enjoyable (I agree, look at his Medicine Shows). Nottz doesn't flip samples like Dilla, absolutely not similar. I'm not shitting on Nottz, but there is no way he is more talented than Madlib. Madlib is one of the most creative producers (traveling Earth for music). The way he flips is legendary. Madlib's carreer > Nottz.

  • @MidlandKruiskade Nottz has been in the game longer than Madlib... thats for one... Nottz got mainstream joints that are hot, and UNderground joints that are hot... he flips samples in a clever way like J Dilla does.... you are dumb to not think that.. Madlib is great in his own way.. but Nottz is more versatile than him.. being able to adjust to any style of production is a big reason why j Dilla is the best...Nottz pretty much does the same..

  • @MidlandKruiskade and on top of that i never even said anything negative about Madlib.. he's great and one of my favorites... but Nottz is just as creative... he changes his drumbs alot... he is even known in the industry as the best producer right now.. he was one of Dilla's favorites.. if you recognize real talent like Madlib and Dilla. i dont understand why you dont see it in Nottz.. he has a great career for a producer who doesnt get that much shine..he worked with the best

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Who the fuck cares that he is "known" as the best right now? Drake is known as the future, is he the best MC we have? Really, what a stupid argument. Madlib is way more versatile than Nottz. Look at his brazilian music, Yesterday's New Quintet, Quasimoto, Madvillain and he makes pure Jazz and Soul besides hiphop. Only two producers are as versatile as Madlib is: J Dilla & RZA. I don't say Nottz is bad, but you said he is more rounded and the guy should do research

  • @MidlandKruiskade when i say "known" i dont mean it in the same sence as Drake.... i mean he is known as the best producer right now by other real producers in the industry

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Just from the top of my head Nottz never made a masterpiece like Fancy Clowns.

  • @MidlandKruiskade just off the top of the head... Madlib never made a decent mainstream joint

  • @MoodMuzikFilez You definitely hatin on Madlib, why would you even say mainstream in a fucking J Dilla video? That's just stupid. Madvillain is probably his most known work and that's not decent? How can Madlib even make amazing beats for mainstream when DOES NOT make mainstream music? I know Pete Rock said Nottz is one of his favorites right now, who cares? Premier said Boi1da is one of his favorites of todays hiphop. Should I take that shit serious?

  • @MidlandKruiskade just saying... it shows more versatilty... Nottz can do it all... and reach to other audiences as well... so dont say that Nottz cant do what Madlib can do... cause he obviously can

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Madlib is not even my favorite. I like Nujabes, Pete Rock, RZA, J Dilla, El-P more. After that there is Madlib, Flying Lotus, Black Milk and some others. Cause you can reach more audiences? I wasn't talking about reaching the audience, I was talking about the beats. Madlib chops samples more creative and even when he loops he does it genius like no other. Like I said I don't think Madlib's the best, but he is way ahead of Nottz and Just Blaze.

  • @MidlandKruiskade regardless im still proving my point no matter what im saying

  • @MidlandKruiskade has Madlib ever made a banger that was non-sampled... like Just Blaze's "lord Knows" joint..... thats like the beat of the year.... there's producers that are better Madlib.. he one of the the best but he's not on the level of J Dilla, Nottz, and Just Blaze

  • @MoodMuzikFilez HAAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH. Just Blaze better than Madlib? Nottz better than Madlib? Ahahaaahahahhahahaahha. Just Blaze is poor @ sampling most of times, look at how he fucked up Curtis Mayfield's classic Move on Up @ kanye's joint. Madlib destroys Nottz and Just Blaze combined. Listen to Whutkanido by Madlib, listen to Accordion, listen to The Official, listen to The Mystery, Shopping bags.

  • @MidlandKruiskade Just Blaze still makes non-sampled masterpieces... he got crazy underground joints that are RAW... he works with great artists... he changed the game pretty much with his production... Jsut Blaze does it all man... i dont hear any crazy non-sampled shit by madlib... plus every producer is gonna have their wack shit... not every producer is perfect

  • @MoodMuzikFilez then you should do more research. Madlib plays all the instruments and sampling is art. DJ Premier samples, Pete Rock does it all the time so what's the problem? Well I'm not sampling sometimes, but does that make me better than Madlib? No. There are so many tracks Madlib plays the drums and the sax himself, so what you talking about?

  • @MidlandKruiskade i know Madlib plays all instruments... but Just Blaze got non-smapled joints that are hot..... give me one by madlib... let me hear it... prove me wrong... give me a madlib joint where he plays more instruments than Just Blaze played in the "show me what you got joint" by Jay-z...

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Yesterday's New Quintet! Check the whole album. That beat is mediocre. It has 3 samples in it you liar. What the fuck are you talking about non-sampled? You said it was not sampled, you don't know shit.

  • @MidlandKruiskade the only instrument sampled in the joint is the saxaphone... everything else is live... just one instrument.. who cares what you tihnk of the beat... Just Blaze is still a genius for it...

  • @MidlandKruiskade Exhibit A- by Jay Eletronica is also live... show respect to Just Blaze.. you are prolly hater to producers who arnt straight underground... anything mainstream you prolly hate.. thats why you prolly only recognize only undergorund shit

  • @MoodMuzikFilez No, I like the old J Cole beats and some of his new ones are great. RZA made amazing beat for Kanye's Dark Fantasy. Q-Tip used to be very known and made great beats, Pharell has some good ones, but has too many wack ones. Premier is known by almost everyone, he is one of the greatest.

  • @MidlandKruiskade yeha but you still come out as someone who is bais only towards undergorund.. Primo isnt even that good.. he just has alot of respect for what hes done... He was alot better whne he first camme out... theres producers way better than him now

  • @MoodMuzikFilez I like the old Kanye West beats: All Falls Down, a lot of songs on Be, even though not one of it can touch Love is... from the same album.

  • @MidlandKruiskade there's nothing you need to tell me about Madlib and all these obvious producers from way back... i already know... but it seeems you got alot to learn about other producers out there... open up to others.. open up your taiste... eventually your gonna pick on how great Nottz.. he hasnt even released his best shit yet.. look up the beat society videos and actually see how much of a beast he is at production

  • @MidlandKruiskade liek for real.. whats so crazy about DJ priemer beats nowadays... they all pretty much sound the same... and he continues to use the same drum pattern... i have much respect for him but he aint one of the best anymore.. he's prolly the best of the 90's tho

  • @MoodMuzikFilez nowadays he's not the same premier true, but pete rock is not the same as well, rza is not the same. they are past their prime, what did you expect? their beats may note be better than todays black milk, apollo brown, kev brown, j rawls and cats like that, but still better than a lot of mainstream producers. Premier produced 4 classics with Gang Starr alone, he is one of the best.

  • @MidlandKruiskade this all started cause you said Madlib is better than these producers...he is obviosuly not... he is as creative as them in his own way... to me they are all on a level of their own... but Nottz and Just Blaze show more versatility and sound..Madlib just doesnt give a fuck and does his own thing...maybe he can do more things that we dont know about who knows... Black Milk is great too.. all these rpoducers are amoung my favorites

  • @MidlandKruiskade okay i i was wrong about Nottz being in the game longer than madlib... but that doesnt even matter anyways...

  • You guys know that's not J dilla who's rapping right? I mean the lyrics are, but the one who's actually performing in this video is his little brother Illa J. If you don't believe me, check out Illa J's music video for 'R U Listenin'?' and tell me that'd not the exact same person. Haha it even says it in the description.

  • wow.. j-dilla is freakin good. i 'can't even put it into words.

  • Guys if you like Dilla theres a guy called Eric Lau from london you should look up hes making beats from the same style dilla does - new talent!!

  • happy new years ladybugs 2012 we here!

  • For some reason I don't get crack attached to J Dee's work like I do with other producer's, but then he comes in with tracks like these and "nothing like this" and my brain is just infused with emotion and thoughts. Something about his sound on tracks like this just...can't put my finger on it but it's special and one of a kind.

  • I have "J Dilla Changed My Life" tat'd on my right forearm....and for a reason! R.I.P Dilla dogg.
