I don't know what your talking about can't shift, there wasn't ever a miss shift. The sound you heard when the emergency brake was released and the car took off was the driver spinning more tire in second gear not a miss shift, if you thought that's what that sound was. Also, the car doesn't sound like a bee that would be the sound of the tires spinning on the pavement lol not the sound of the exhaust.(car)

Traction Control and LSD are 2 different things. all you need to worry about is turning off TC for a burnout. theres a button on the dash to turn on/off the traction control, that allows you to make both wheels spin. traction control is to help the car get traction and transfer power from one wheel to the other. Such as in winter or in the rain when traction is needed most. Traction control is always on unless you decide to turn it off every time you start your car.
@jettamustang when the lsd is on what does that mean? i've never fully understood what this is for. how do i know when it's on or off? and what is it good for?
the vr6 is built like a brick shithouse. not much goes bad on them, timing chains every 90k miles (normal) and a coilpack whenever it cracks. they like to be beaten

OK, you drove it with respect but what about the service, at 10k , 20k 40k 50k 60k 70k. Its more than just an oil change every 3,000 miles.. If you follow the VW service manual you DUB wont fail you at 100,000. I got 96 Golf with over 250,000 and runs like a champ stock with all factory parts.

not rear wheel for starters... it's front wheel drive.
stage five kinetic kit, headers (handle the boost) , strait back exhaust, ecu mod (to trick o2 censors), and high CC fuel injectors.
Can find this car for 3-4000, and the upgrades will run you under 6. Debating throwing in a 02J and doing a little work myself.
