  • @TheOwlcatGirl

    WHY??

This is THE best work by Rise Against with Zach in the band.

  • I have the black vinyl.. but it's signed by all members of the band.

  • RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE

  • @24gadjet PERFECT TIMING!

I scrolled down to look at the comments, and when I saw your comment, precisely that moment I hear : RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE !

    xD

  • @milopolo That happened to me just now too xD

  • screaming has nothing to do with music styles, screamo is not a genre

  • Don't know what everyone's problem is. I loved The Unraveling and Revolutions Per Minute. I also loved Endgame and Appeal to Reason. I guess I've 'limited' myself to liking the band itself and not cherry-picking through their albums. Their music was/is/and always will be fantastic.

  • Well tehre are two CDs i got to get this and Endgame...

  • my only problem is that they dont play their b-sides live

  • 1 dude voted dislike ._. YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE !!!

  • Fucking Sick Song - Hell Addictive :)

  • @teragreg Okay let's cool it with the maturity insults since you just swore, yelled, and had a tantrum like a little girl. This Launian guy is just trying to have a polite and non-confrontational discussion, and you're to thick skulled to realize it. Let's realize that there is a counter-argument to what you say and be a little less ignorant.

  • why don't u just shut the fuck up and listen to the music ?

  • still on sale on interpunk idk how many but i need to buy it...i doubt its the red marble press cause they only made 50 or 100 of those? idk...but anyways sick songs

  • what was the bet?

  • RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE!

  • RAISE YOUR F*CKING VOLUME!!

  • @InfernalPlasma pu music in a video game? if thats true then people would be syaing thee guys sold out like 6 years ago cause the first song i heard from these guys was paper wings on burnout 3. but yah people need to relise when a band sells out that they actualy are sure their selling out. trust me when a band does it you can tell. hell even green day hasnt sold out. they got relay popular and they matured with time ultimatly changing their style. i dont even like green day and i can tell

  • NEW ALBUM ON 15TH MARCH 2011!!!!

    NAME:End Game

CHECK THEIR WEBSITE TO LISTEN TO 1 OR 2 SONGS!!!!

  • TIM MCILRATH FOR PRESIDENT!

  • RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE!

  • RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE!!!!!!! in these songs you can hear ideas that will be eventually be in later songs

  • there needs to be more music like this... hope their new album sounds similar

  • Well it's music, so I think I should care what it sounds like...

It's just my opinion. And I am a real fan...I've been with them since a year after The Unraveling.

  • @ZakuKun you forgot to hit reply

also high five for being a fan since unravvleing. i may of been a little kid at the time but these were the first guys i ever got realy into

  • @jsh020

    Ahhh I see.

    Yeah! :]

That's awesome. They're great. And good band to start getting into punk with.

  • @ZakuKun well there more rck and hardcore then punk but they are anti-govt so i guess that cna be punk. hey if you like these guys's heavier stuff you need to ceck out strike anywhere. their first album is kinda crap but the resat are fucking awsome. ecpecialy "exit english"

  • 1 old man wants you to lower your voice

  • Theres always the one little fucker that dislikes!

    Fuc Yeah

  • Listening to this and Grammatizator at the same time. It sounds awesome. O.O

  • What album is this?.... D:

    Thanks for upload ;w;

  • There is one person who refuses to raise their fucking voice....they need to get the fuck out

  • Raise your fucking voice!

  • I liked this vinyl more than "Appeal to Reason" itself.

It reminds me of what they used to be.

  • @ZakuKun you mean what they are. again they just sing from the heart. they dont want to be anything. they make music from the ehart ad try to make a difference in the world through their music. if you realy care about what they sound like now to then, then you just are not a real RA fan

  • 1:02 is the start of re-education :D

  • @Ebeet0FAN It's a deeper note

  • @thunder33327 I dont care it´ nearly the same so :D

  • SO EVERYBODY KNOWS:

This song is off an 7" vinyl EP released on Fat Wreck Chords, the record label owned by Fat Mike from NOFX

This EP was released because Rise Against lost a bet to Fat Mike. It's pretty hard to find, there were limited pressings, only like 5000 or something.

THIS song is ONLY available on the EP. The other song, grammatizator, is also available on an EP that Geffen released.

    JUST SO YOU KNOW

    Rise Against is the best

    Tim Mcilrath is a god

    that is all....

  • @cyrustheheman Word.

  • @cyrustheheman Fat Mikes jesus?

  • @teragreg of course!

  • @cyrustheheman 5018* And 1010 where pressed on red marble vinyl, and the restoring 4008 ones where on regular black vinyl.

  • is this going to be from the new album?

  • rise against are awesome!

  • Holy crap, looks like they returned to their roots :) It's not ike I hated ATR, it was a nice album too.. But I liked their old style better ^^

  • @Basmati93 I totally agree. This is a little more like Revolutions Per Minute or The Unraveling.

  • @Basmati93 As far as I can tell, their all over the place with styles... Acoustic, Heavy, Rock, Alternative, I love em' all :D

  • @HaloRoxMySox47 Rise Against used to be very alternative, such as this album, but other than their old stuff and this, they're very mainstream

  • @teragreg Rise against isn't mainstream ;)

It might be more casual, and less hardcore punk rythm.

But the lyrics are hardcore as hell.

Especially on the upcoming album. Check it out.

  • @paragonNL No, i meant their latest albums, from sufferer to appeal, and now Endgame? Its so shitty, they have become so mainstreamed, everyone listens to them, shitty lyrics, and their label has taken them over

  • @teragreg Endgame lyrics are hardcore, they might not sound as hardcore since the rythm isn't that hardcore.

But really, just wait for the complete endgame album, it'll be good.

  • @paragonNL If endgame game sounds like its new single, suffer and the witness and appeal to reason, im NOT looking forward to it. Also, stop describing the lyrics as hardcore, its not and adjective, its a genre

  • @paragonNL Personally, I think it's a good album. It isn't for every Rise Against fan that has liked them since the beginning, like myself, but it's good.

What do you mean the lyrics are hardcore?

  • @pongsitchingy lyrics are what make hardcore hardcore, any idiot can go out and make fast paced intrumental peicew and scream but that wont make you hardcore, its like all the pretty boy high schoolers thta dress up in black and scream and think their screamo but when it comes down to it the only way to truely be a part of any genre is to have the lyrics match,

and in reality hardcore is and always will eb just a heavier punk, which rise against is currently just punk

  • @jsh020 Ah, I get it. Guess I never thought about it before.

  • @pongsitchingy yah i never got it till very recently too, but yah as i said, hardcore is basicly the same exact lyrics of punk, thats why basicly every hardcore band ends up punk or doing punk eventually, examples, rise against and strike anyhwere are just punk now far from hardcore

also i just have tosay this myth is false not directed at you pongs but screaming has absolutly jack shit to do with hardcore, you dont need to scream to be hardcore and never did

  • @jsh020 Yeah, like Bad Religion. They're hardcore, although the singer never screams.

  • @pongsitchingy yah same goes for all the starter hardcore bands, like face to face, they are the heart and soul of hardcore to the last detail, they never scream ever,

now cause somone will mininterprete what i said, you can still scream and be hardcore

  • @teragreg "they have become so mainstreamed"? "everyone listens to them"? Are they frikin tampons, that once they're "used" they ain't good anymore? It's frikin music, dude. What if the blondie with the pink BMW listens to them? They're still amazing, and their songs are still full of meaning. If you stopped liking them when they started changing styles (and yes, they did), that's one thing. But saying they're shitty cuz they're "mainstream" just shows that you don't care about the music.

  • @Launian there new shit is balls. I never stopped likin them cause they went mainstream, i was arguing with some fag cause he thought they didnt go mainstream. Btw, thanks for typing tyhat

  • @teragreg I just ask you: Why is "mainstream" a bad thing? Not that I agree they are "mainstream" (I don't even believe there's such thing as a "mainstream" besides the way bands and singers sell out their image), but why would that be a bad thing per se? They're on video games (I got to know them from GHIII, with Prayer for a Refuge), but they kept the feeling on their songs. In the end, that's the important thing, IMO,

  • @Launian OMFG, when bands go mainstream, they get new producers for more money, thats what pop is, money money money. Remember when they signed with fat wreck? Now they're with geffen, because they were noticed by the music "industry"

thats why mainstreamed music is bad, so youd better beleive. Please dont bother responding

  • @teragreg So you're saying that a succesful band is a bad band? C'mon. If anything, I'd rather have a "mainstream" band singing about Katrina or songs like "Hero of War" than a kid faking an orgasm or a photoshop'd girl singing about names. And no, I don't remember when they signed with fat wreck. I don't even know what that is, because I don't give a damn about labels. As I said, the song is what's important, not who they're working for.

  • @Launian I can see you have have no clue what you're talking about, when did i say a succesful band was a bad thing?

  • @teragreg You said that mainstream music is band, and that mainstream music is the bands that are noticed by the music industry. But if they are, and they sell CDs and stuff, then they are sucessful. Ergo, succesful bands are bad.

I invite you to enlighten me and show me where I failed to grasp your logic. In the meantime, I stand by what I said earlier: what the songs say is a hell lot more importan than who is paying for the discs where the songs are recorded.

  • @Launian oh my fuckin god! Shut the hell up! I DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK, MAN! YOU'RE PROBABLY JUST A FUCKIN 10 YEAR OLD ANYWAYS! I CAN EASILY TELL

  • @teragreg Obvious troll is obvious, I guess. And by the way, I really hope you don't relay solely on your intuition to pass through elementary school, cuz if you do, you're completely screwed.

  • This song is freakin sweet

  • RISE AGAINST are back2punk!!!

  • @xarhsbrak

    WOOT WOOT AT THAT ONEE!

  • 0:23 = orgasmic drumming

  • Raise ur fuckin Voice!

  • you've got it as coloured vinyl? damn D:

  • those of you who say rise against blows, well you can blow it out your ass. this is better than hitler's kill/death ratio.

  • @kmw96 hitler never actualy killed anyone. he just ordered peaple to be killed. never did it himself so your saying this is better then -1

  • @jsh020 well, it certainly is better than -1, in any case =D

  • @jsh020 the funny part is he nerver killed anyone but him self

  • @MrParkour111 so that makes it a -2 kill death ratio.

oh man im just imagining some rise against fan comeing on here wondering why were talking about hitler

  • Its not album, It was release.

    And only released like 500.

  • wat album is this?

  • ....reminds me of bricks

  • Nice Song, sounds more like HC. I love Appeal To Reason as much as the very old albums..soft Punkrock-Songs, Harcore-Songs like the SOIA Cover "Built To Last", Grammatizator, Like The Angel, Sight Unseen, Swing Life Away, Six Days Till Sunday,...political Musicvideos(Hero Of War, Ready To Fall and VERY much more). I really like ALL of that stuff by Rise Against, each Album and Single. They can be considered as Punkrock, Hardcore Punk, Melodic Hardcore-But important is only: They are RISE AGAINST

  • I dont really like this new song, and i love Rise Against

  • @BlackWidowsScenario

Have you listened to their older stuff? This is reminiscent of their older songs.

  • @Everyone Listening Who gives a shit what this is like, its a good song listen to it and enjoy it and shut the hell up.

  • Does everyone seem to forget they're a Melodic Hardcore band? Them returning to their heavier sound is a good thing, stop complaining. They will always be a great band regardless because of their message, this is the kind of band that matures but doesn't change their message and sellout. One of the greatest bands of our time.

  • I love this song! Where can I download it? I tunes doesn't have it :(

  • @twingirl8199 just buy a cd and grow with us

  • 1:01 sounds like the beginning of Re-education because this is an out-take from appeal to reason and was probably made before re-education and they just re-used that part

  • Grammatizator is my fav from this album.

  • wow....they still make those round black thingies? (i honestly cant remember the name right now lolz)

  • @cjar344 *facepalm*

  • 1:01 sounds like the beginning of Re-Education.

  • @Archvile999 haha yah it does

  • it DOESSSS!!

  • @Archvile999 holy crap you weren't kidding, it does

  • @Archvile999 Good catch. Also listening to the song more closely it does sound a bit like Re-Education, just faster (and better).

  • Man hope the next album will contain these kind of songs, but don't get me wrong Appeal to Reason was good but not nearly as good as the Sufferer and the Withness

  • totally agree

  • @yammayack1 Totally agreed man. "The Sufferer and the Witness" was there best album in my oppinion. "Grammatizator" is also a very good song. I want them to return to the punk genre for just one album. I want to see it one last time. I like the more mainstream but they need to preform more then one genre.

  • pardon my french, but why the FUCK weren't all these songs on appeal to reason???

  • cant stop listening to this. The next album is in need of some hardcore. I mean appeal to reason was very good but lacked some of their hardcore roots. Maybe the next album will showcase some of that.

  • Yea I hope so too. I must say I like Death Blossoms better than this song but their next albums probably gonna be more on the heavy side. I can't wait!!

  • @aceshigh23650 Actually, I doubt it will be on the heavier side, although i bet they will still record songs like this and just release them later again

  • Comment removed

  • Hero of War, Swing life Away and Roadside are soft =D

  • Are'nt those like.. Serenades ?

  • When is there new cd coming out

  • i like all the kinds of music rise against makes. i like hardcore but sometimes i feel like listenning to a soft rise against song.

  • Yeah man took the words outta my mouth

  • rise against is the best band alive!!!!!!!!!

  • whats this for a album? :o

  • Badass song can't wait for a new album to come out gonna fuckin jizz my pants when it does lmao! If you all wanna see how they really fuckin rock out check out their international videos there's one with the American Flag upside down..meaning disrespect of the flag or something like that.

  • An upside-down flag is an international sign of distress

  • the upside down flag is a distress signal it doesnt mean disrepect.. rise against isnt unamerican or unpatriotic they just know shit needs to change

  • lol, i listen to songs like this and then i hear people saying rise against is getting mainstream and poppy, lmao

  • appeal to reason is mainstream and its their latest album tht why.

  • so Historia Calamitatum, elective amnesia, sight unseen, and grammatizer and this song are all poppy?

  • yes.

  • @DemandedASpank

I bought all of their albums and I agree, Appeal to Reason is their most mainstream sounding one. The Unraveling is definitely not though..

  • at 1:01 starts re-education ;)

  • true true

  • IMO this is better than grammatizator :)

Don't get me wrong though, they're both genius!

  • i like this one better too

the other was a bit to hardcore for me

  • I really hate when people argue over the internet, because I get all wrapped up in it and try to see where it started, when I realize, "Hey, these guys are retarded!"

    And thank you Tony.

  • thats not nice.... how do u think they feel about you restating the obvious of them...

  • @ Everyone arguing about what RA is: They arent "trying" to be hardcore, they arent "trying" to be anything... This is one of the few musicians, tim especially, that expresses music through his heart. What you hear is exactly what he feels, its insight into him. Music is the ultimate form of self expression, and his passion and talent are amazing. He does not give a fuck what anyone thinks he is or is trying to be, because he is just himself and plays what he wants and how he feels. its genuine

  • While that may be true, you have to admit RA's music did change very drastically when they got a new manager.

Even a def person could tell you that Appeal to reason was far more mainstream than any of their albums to date.

But i gotta say, I LOVE where this shit's going.

  • @Gigafuzz listen to remains of summer memories and 3 day weekend.. fairly "poppy" sounding and its from their first album ever..

  • @tonyg3404 Don't put this all back on Tim, there's 3 other members of the band, it's not a one man show. Just cause Tim is the lead singer doesnt mean Zach, Brandon and Joe don't have anything to do with the making of Rise's songs.

  • @tonyg3404 but man, how am i supposed to listen to music unless it has a genre to name it ! what would i ever do without putting everything into a catagory!

  • @Kornrulz876 haha know what u mean, i mean i catagorize all my files on my computer when im bored

  • @tonyg3404

That's what makes them one of the true icons in such a hellish time in the world. they don't bullshit.

  • @tonyg3404

    I Love you.

Thank you for putting Tim's real thoughts here.

  • @tonyg3404 right, they arent trying to be hardcore.. they are.. and RA FUCKIN ROCKS!

  • @tonyg3404 yah you understand it. yah not to many people make music based on te way they feel. hell the only one i can think of off the top of my head is the buddy neilson from senses fail. thats why every album for both that band and RA is so different minus revolutions per minuete and the unraveling being similar

  • @tonyg3404 i agreeeee!!! no one can bad mouth rise against..and yes tim sings from heart!

rise against is real music so everyone who has something against rise against should go listen to lil wayne or some other rubbish music..

  • @fermerwuvu WEll spoken broo

  • @tonyg3404 Thats so well said..

  • @tonyg3404 EXACTLY Rise Against didn't sell out like a lot of people are claiming! They wrote the songs and the sound naturally turned out the way it did. Simple as that.

  • @Vide0sPlz people think any band sells out when they get popular or change their style. its quite retarted. people also need to learn when a band goes mainstream its not a guarrenteed fail. bands like 30 seconds to mars, blink 182, motion city soundtrack are all mainstream and still great.

  • You guys are idiots. A lot is spelt as one word in certain places. Spelt is also a word in many places as well. Know shit before you talk.

  • @K1Y2L1E7 no it isn't, lol. It's misspelled in certain places.

  • alot is not a word my english teacher would shit all over your dome right now hahah

  • Favourite is the English way of spelling it, as opposed to American.

  • exactly, thank you for being intelligent

  • what is this cd called

  • it´s great!!

  • ummmmm, let me guess appeal to reason is your favourite album, and youre a fucking poser.

i like there new stuff, but their old stuff is WAY better, and how they were 'meant to be'

  • Comment removed

  • Um No Crazy. 1. Not a Poser. 2. Learn to spell Favorite. Its only above the comment Board. 3. There Trying to be Hardcore Shit sucks because Rise Against is a New Music Band. The kind of Different Music like Billy Talent. I say. Want different? Listen to Rise Against, Matchbook Romance, And Billy Talent. Want Heavy? Listen to Slipknot, Disturbed, and Lamb Of God. Enough Said.

  • 1. Fuck you, i DID spell favourite right.

2.There not trying to be hardcore, they Were Hardcore, and i also love Billy Talent and disturbed

  • NO Dumbass. One. FAVORITE. Does your computer correct misspelled words? Cause when I type Favourite A BIG ASS RED LINE GOES UNDER IT And my Computer wants to CORRECT The Misspelled word. Dumbass Look up

  • Your Dumb Kid. Speak Proper.

  • Don't comment on someone's post about speaking proper, k? You Capitalize Every Fucking Letter, And You Spelt 'You're' Wrong.

  • @BradM771 And you spelled 'Spelled' wrong ;)

    Lol
