Spear of Zeus? Or something like this, my friend played same character, but in the bow style. He just started on Epic when he found it on first few camps. He had a lot of cool stuff on that character, but he lost the save game. Now we started again to play Titan Quest and we don't know what to start. Any idea for a good duo? Oh, last time we played paladin earth+spirit, we got to the act 3 in one night, we played about 6-7 hours, I cannot remember, but I remember that it was fast and fun.
@teknown I think it depends on what style you both prefer. It usually works well for one player to be a melee tank, whilst another a petmancer or a mage. But I suppose two tanks or two mages can work well too. Not sure how two archers would work though, but could be fun.
@matseb2611 We tried 2 petmancers and it is pretty boring, so I assume we will play a tank and a mage, he likes having many strong abilities and I like the melee. I will post the result as soon as we decide.

@matseb2611 We are level 11 right now, we just got to Megara and killed the Cyclope. He is a pyromancer and I am defender, right as we did last time. Best combo ever, but I have problems tanking all monsters, I don't have a taunt, but we still do pretty good. He has some blue items as well as I have, so we do pretty good. We decided that we play pyro and def until around level 30 when we decide about what shall get as the secondary mastery.
@teknown I see, cool. Actually Defence is very slow and boring at the start. It only starts to properly shine later on, and it is the best mastery for surviving/tanking (as the name might suggest). Yeah, I think Nightmare's mastermind skill affects ally's pets as well, but not too sure. It's worth checking.
@matseb2611 It is not that boring, I go into them and the pyro kills all of them very fast, he is very strong. He has a lot of fire dmg from the staff and some recharge time item, he also got some points in the fire buff, we are fine. But yeah, defence is pretty weak early game, same goes for the warfare, mages I observed that are very good early and also rogue, in general characters with buffs and strong attacks that doesn't need gear to hit hard.
@teknown Yep, you got it. Magic masteries tend to be very strong early on, but get slightly weaker later on, whilst fight masteries the opposite - they are slow at the start, but get stronger later on. As for rigid carapace, I don't think it drops anywhere in Act 1. It mostly can be found in Acts 2 and 3. Act 2 - from scarab beetles, Act 3 - from mantids. Or you can just transfer it from one of your other characters.
@matseb2611 I wish I had any of my old characters to farm in Egyp. Now I just QQ because I cannot get rigid carapace and when I will, it will be late because I needed it for a level 5 Molten Orb Relic, for the fire mage, to bad he lost his warden too. He played warden a lot and had inventory full of blues, he had also lots of sets and strong relics, but happens to burn a CD then to get rid of it. So, if we don't find until act 2 any good relic to complete, we will complete that. Thx!

man im trying to get the Theban Panoply idk if i spelled it right but i only got the theben curiass i need the helm, bracers,greaves,and shield i foud the curiass when i was lvl 3 im 23 now (i know im not that far) but i havent single one yet still have the curiass *sigh* idk if you guys have advice but if you do reply back plz thank you :)
I'd say don't bother collecting the sets. You won't find all the pieces on the first runthrough, and besides at your stage now you can find way better stuff. Theban armor only drops in Act 1 normal. Eventually as you take more characters through it, you'll find more pieces, but in the end only few sets are worthy to be worn in full. I'd say forget about it and keep playing. Way better stuff is awaiting you ahead.

@TAWEEYZZ Cool. Glad it's working out. In latter stages of the game the % attack damage converted to health is a way more helpful stat than health regen and life leech. But all of these are useful when in accumulated amount. E.g. 5% attack dmg converted to health would be near useless, but 25% will be great, if you see what I mean.
Sure. It does pretty much what it says. It converts the said %ge of amount of damage you deal each hit to heal you. So if you have let's say 20% damage converted to health and you deal 100 damage per hit, you will gain 20 HP each time you hit. % attack damage converted to health is very useful late game when your character will be dealing a lot of damage. So for example if your character will have 5000 HP and will deal 2000 dmg per hit with 20% ADCTH, then he/she will gain 400 HP.
I think it drops in legendary, but I am not entirely sure. I had Alexander's cuirass drop from legendary Typhon, so I am guessing any part of that set can drop from him.
Yeah. Hybrid classes (half melee, half magic) are considered to be quite hard ones to play as, because you need to consider attribute points in all 3 - str, int and dex, but at a specific ratio. I'd say concentrate on str the most, but don't forget about the other two either.

I am pretty sure spears is better, so you can have a shield, or else half of the skills in Defence become useless if you use a bow. However some people say that they have a bow as a secondary weapon for an occassional use.
Warlock eh, I've heard they are good bleeders, because rogue has a lot of attacks that cause bleeding, whilst spirit has necrosis that can reduce enemy bleeding resistances.
I think it's better off to start with Hunting mastery. It has a faster start. Defence starts slowly but gets very powerful later on. Get Wood lore and take down first if you're going for spears (which as a Warden you should). If you're doing bows then go for Marksmanship tree and rush for Scatter shot. The entrapment skill can come handy in act 1 normal too, but not after that.

Or do you mean Quick recovery? That one is also good, but I usually get that a bit later on in the game.

Skills at lvl 20-25? Hmm, if I remember correctly I was very high up with Hunting and a fair bit with Defence, so...
Take down, Wood lore, call of the hunt, art of the hunt tree, study prey, batter, shield charge, armor handling, shield smash.
Yeah, I think those were my starting skills pretty much.

Well, Wood lore skill in Hunting is one. And then various +% attack speed modifiers on your equipment.
Not sure what speed it is. But I did get up to 160-170% at one stage with this character (with Phorkos Trident legendary spear).
