Look for the album Lester Leaps In- Lester Young playing with Count Basie. They do a great version of this song. JAzz of course. LEtser's solo about 1 minute in is magnificent
That's so nice. i'm a beginner dobro player and would love to figger out how to get the hawiian sound. It is truly the music of sun, sand and love. Thanks.
Those are the legs that come with it from the factory. once in a while youll find someone who make ones, but not often, the threading is very thick for the size bar that its made from. the steels are very heavy for its size. unless you find a lap steel thats a 6 or something small, its pretty hefty.
My father took lessons from Leonard Zinn back in the late 1940's in Hanover, Pa. and went on to play steel guitar with many C&W bands in the Baltimore area until he passed away in 1996.
Listening to L T, I can hear the same style that my dad learned from his teacher.
I have my dad's triple neck Fender but unfortunately, never learned to play the instrument myself.

Nice! I like the guitar backing too. Nice D'Angelico if I'm not mistaken.
