Questo film lo metto tra i primi 6-7 di Dario Argento... comunque l'indizio rivelatore dello "strumento" (corno inglese) Dario l'ha scopiazzato dal romanzo Delitti in cerca d'autore (in particolare uno dei 4 racconti, "I delitti di Y"... l'assassino era Jamie li, guidato però sempre da una lettera, e lo strumento era l'oboe...) di Ellery Queen :) è stata una coincidenza perchè ho letto quel libro, questo nulla toglie alla bellezza del film!!!

La musica di Simonetti è molto bella anche lei

If you havent, you guys should watch (House By The Cemetery - Quella Villa Accanto Al Cimitero), its my favorite. Beyond the Darkness - Buio Omega is also a great Italian horror, along with Pieces - Mil Gritos Tiene La Noche, Pieces is Spanish-Italian, but its great too, and Spanish Horror is also terrific. And of course theres Suspiria. All great films.

Italian horror is the best kind of horror there is

Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci are the best film makers. I like this Goblin song, Claudio Simonetti is ahead of most musicians, and he composes lots of music for Dario Argento films over the years. Dario and Lucio are my heros, I own most of their films. Its really too bad that Lucio Fulci died, I enjoyed his films the most, and nobody did gore effects as good as he did.
