No, the composer is Francesco Molino. It is a Romance (Andante amoroso) from his 'Nouvelle Méthode complete pour la guitar' (Paris, c.1820). Logy was a composer for the lute, a century earlier.
Ms. Hannah, how I wish you'd upgrade your recording instrument so that we all could better enjoy your performance...because you certainly do play the guitar wonderfully!
Such passion, such talent.... It is a shame that true music like this is not recognized as it used to be... You have a beautiful talent sweetheart... I only wish I could sight read like that... Keep it up... You give me inspiration to keep practicing.
wow! i love all of your video performances that i have seen - awesome - i have to wonder- what kind of training you have had? - if any some lucky players do fine on their own. I, on the other hand, have absolutely no natural talent & must work tirelessly on every piece. I also studied for years under an eccentric & perfectionist "Maestro" (not to mention expensive!) so i can appreciate what you have as truly & profoundly beautiful - a treasure to behold!!
This girl is so beautiful..... The 1st 2-4 measures sounded like the "Can't stop falling in love with you".. Nice job btw, you have a clean sound and very passive to the tempos nicely done...
I find myself playing along with the basic melody of the piece, and taking it on a harmonic ride. Basically improvising along the way. I've played this particular video several times, and every time I do I here a different harmonic melody that I play. I find this piece and the way you play it very moving and inspiring. I find that some of the simplist forms of music has the most to say. I thank you for conveying that through your playing. I love it.
You play this little piece very nicely. I think you would enjoy playing it even more if you tried to commit it to memory so you could throw away the sheet music. Don't be afraid to put your own personality into it. :~)
Maybe it's the compression of the video/audio making the wavy sound of the G string with all the other strings, but my friend i will give your comment a thumbs up, but i truely believe her playing is perfect, it is a bit wavy like i said and i hear the fine pitch between to notes at octave with the G, so just bare with me and respect it and don;t thumbs down. =D I'm giving a comment,
Hey thanks for that. It wasn't I who gave that one a thumbs down, friend. The compression of video/audio making can do that to one's video, so you're in the right. My ears (even though I'm a guitarist) apparently aren't as good as yours, as I hadn't noticed the octave interval's minor flaws at G.. The third string is what we both have in mind. No hard feelings :)

Very nice, young lady. Your tone is very good and your notes very clear. As you master it, increase the tempo and have some fun with it!

Wonderful job. I thought the advice to give it more expression was excellent and I second that.

nice, but hold the notes a little longer and let them ring ( or add a tiny bit of reverb after)

good job hannah, but you're lacking strength. Now that you got the notes down, give it more expression!
