  • I have been seeking for years to find what I am raised cathlic, surrounded by western baptist, seeking what the holy spirit is drawing me to, as a gypsy raised in america livingin a very small town I now know I belong to the orthidox faith yet there is no orthidox church anywhere near me, I can not uproot my children to move at this time, my heart feels so saddened right now please pray for me

  • @gypsie1313 God will make a way for you; meantime, read and watch our videos and those of Archbishop Lazar here on you tube. You will have a head-start in preparation for baptism into the Holy Faith. Also, look into towns around you for Greek Orthodox Churches..we recommend the Greek Orthodox since they have fewer problems with their structure, etc at this point in America. Please let me know if there's anything we can help you with?

  • Apostles teach that "Son is only-begotten of the Father, and the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father". The Father remains the fountainhead of the Persons of the All-Holy Trinity. You confuse the action of the Son sending the Holy Spirit - Who comes THRU the Son yet ..always FROM the Father alone. The Lord Jesus teaches this ... (John 15:26) Book of Acts of Apostles (chap. 15) : St. James is bishop of Jerusalem, St. Paul corrects St. Peter in bk. of galatians.. Read and learn.

  • Everything that belongs to the Father has been given to the Son. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father .....AND THERFORE also proceeds from the Son. To deny that is to be a heretic. The papal see is vacant, Benedict XVI and his 4 predecessors were in fact heretical antipopes, HOWEVER St. Peters LAWFUL successors have his same divinely ordained primacy and jurisdiction. Covert to the one true Catholic Faith outside of which nobody at all is saved. Visit vaticancatholicdotcom

  • orthodox christianity is religion of ,,our fathers'' because it is the first christian religion.othodoxy is older than catolicm.it is the ourest type of christianity in the world.

  • I'm an Orthodox Christian and I'm Black Caribbean. Orthodoxy is truly the True Church. I'm very blessed to have found Orthodoxy. I am still green in many ways, but am learning so much each day. Lord have mercy on us and bless us all.

  • I have been attending an Antiochan Orthodox Church. Fortunately, it is all in English and 95% of the people are converts to Orthodoxy (the priest was raised a conservative Jew). I been enjoying it so much.

  • This video was very inspiring. I was originally baptised greek orthodox but only now rediscovering the Orthodox Christian Faith. God bless

  • I'm a christian orthadox

  • I'm a Twelver-Shia Muslim, I don't think I'd ever convert to (Eastern) Orthodox Church, but i have to admit that it's by far the most interesting 'sect' in the Christian faith today

  • @orgthingy God grant you the grace to make the decision - even if you keep it close to your heart. The true God Who is Mercy, Peace and total Love is waiting to welcome you into His joy - into His Kingdom. The Lord Jesus Christ brings His Kingdom into your life and deepest heart - He is our God wrapped in humanity so that we can understand His Father more clearly. He waits for you to choose Him, like a Bridegroom waits for His beloved's response.

  • @orgthingy : hei muslim...it is not a sect as you say

  • @orgthingy Its not a sect,it is the fiirst Christian Chruch, all others were created later, first the catholics seperated from the Orthodox Chruch, then - protestants from carholics and etc.

  • Dear sister in Christ welcome to the Truth!

  • this almost brings tears to my eyes! I remember my first trip to an Orthodox Church. the standing really took me back. I wasn't watching someone worship from a pew, I was really participating in the worship. and I LOVED the icons. even now, when I stand in the Church, I feel I'm standing amongst the saints. and another thing I love, I'm 15, and 21st century high school is really the devil's playground. but I can go to church and be equipped for the world, prayer rope in hand.

  • @tmh726 God bless and keep you in His care in our Saviour Jesus Christ, and through our Mother's prayer (and His) the all-pure Theotokos !

  • @tmh726 May God Bless you, dear one, and keep you protected from that 21st century darkness that you speak of. Wishing you Peace and all that is good for all the days of your life.

  • How do you pronounce Pascha? I am Ethiopian Orthodox, and we speak Amharic. In our language we say Fah-see-kah.

  • @SnickersInTheBarn Pascha pronounced "Pahs-kah" with emphasis on first syllable. Means "passover" (Hebrew "Pesach") Christ's fulfillment of Israel's Feast of defeat of Death. Christ in His humanity, goes from Death to Life taking our selves with Him. Christians now "fall asleep" in the Lord, without the spiritual death attending them. (see St. Paul's 2 Thess. about death of believers).

  • @SnickersInTheBarn In your language, remember the "P" becomes "F", so actually you ARE saying the same word.

  • Truly He IS Risen!! Joyous Pascha!!

  • happy pascha!!! Christ is risen!

  • Wasn't Orthodox the original Christianity? And Catholicism derived from Orthodoxy? I'm wondering.

  • @KetAnthony Both are Catholic and one in the same but one is Roman and the other is not. Yea the Great Schism......

  • @KetAnthony orthodox was created by the lord himself, nothing changed since, and there is nothing new about the bible..

  • @KetAnthony The original church is called Holy Apostolic Catholic Church. Catholic means ecumencial, global.

Term Orthodox was coined in 6th or 7th century to distinguish this church from heretical churches that broke away from it. After the schism when Roman patriarachate broke away from four others, they started calling them selves Roman Catholic church, as they were rome centered. The rest of the church remained to call it self Holy Apostolic Orthodox Catholic church.

  • May Gods Blessings be upon you all my brothers and sisters.

For you have all Blessed me with tears of joy.

  • As an Orthodox Chritian, I would like to say to those who are considering converting- that this not only a wonderful religion-- but is the path to the Truth.

  • Thank you sister-in-Christ! We're praying to come to Thessaloniki next year as God wills!

  • God bless you sister! You are always welcome to come here in Greece!

  • God bless you for following the All-Holy Spirit "Who will lead [us] into all the Truth"!! Now please please pray that many more will follow!

  • Just like you I have come out of charismatic movement and converted to Orthodox Christianity.

  • If only - please pray fervently - that all of our truly Spirit-filled Christians could discover the Lord's own Ark, His Church as we have! Our mission's "target" group is pentecostals and how we praise God for those who have found the True Faith with our fathers and mothers to guide us in our Spirit-filled walk!

  • I used to be a vineyard youth pastor and seminarian in a pentacostal school for ministry. I am so glad I found the orthodox faith! I have never made such a great decision since my decision for Christ! Congradulations on your journey home to the true faith! peace

  • vineyard as in VCC [vineyard community church] cincinnati?

  • God Bless you sister for finding the true unchanged faith of the martys and confessors.
