@jasonandjoesrailway we used no wood in building this track, purely carbord. 1 step, make a rough plan with elavations and build up with cardbord as much as possible. we used a very light material best explained as foam with on both sides cardbord (?). sorry, englisch word, I do not know. and made big shunks and placed them with decorating needles ( a lot of work) after that use wet toiletpaper on top. It makes the structure extra solid. paint it in any colour you want! good luck again!
How did you get the look of the mountain sides, like the big rock effect, i would love to know how.
