  • This is where we get many of our Shotokan kata from.

  • 上間先生だ

    押忍!

  • To me its the best of training. This is such a strict martial art, religion, and law that you can loose your belt if ever caught fighting these techniques in the open or even showing anyone. A belt is hard to earn, just in case you haven't seen the training involved.

  • @TheCrystalStormz belts are meaningless.

  • @CentredOne that wasnt his point...

  • @yomammaonastick Yes, I suppose

  • Is this a DVD series ? Cuz i would like to have it ^-^

Great bunkai part ! Simple ! Thats what Karate means to me: Simplicity

  • Very good!!!!!

  • What about if the assailant doesn't step with their punches? What if they fight like a boxer--albeit, presumably not a very good one--?

  • Then no problems; you've already stepped back out of the way.

  • @elu296 Well sure, you could still move in the same manner, but then your intended area of attack isn't presented to you anymore, because the person hasn't stepped like you've been trained to defend against.

  • Terrible camera angles. Give us all or nothing.

  • I miss so much Uema sensei's classes in Shuri!

  • Looked a lot like Naihanchi and Pinan Shodan from Shidokan style...

  • @AlexDaDojoDude My thought exactly

  • 他の方のナイファンチ初段をみた後だからか、凄さがわかります。

  • ナイファンチ初段。達人の方がやると迫力がちがいますねえ。

  • nice passai bunkai there. sharp and refined

  • great camera angles!
