When I want a good hair cut and shave for 10 bucks I go to the old part of the down. The barbers are around 60 years old and they take around 10 to 20 minutes to cut you hair like you want it and a good clean shave and they have football or Baseball on that old TV with nobs. The Hair cut is well cut and the shaving cream is nice and hot and OMG the hot towel Relax you. When his done you want to tip him a 5 dollars for that awesome job. Few days later I heard the old barber die :(

I am currently using the same straight razor my Great grandfather used, and maybe older than him.. Josiah Newtons & sons , says made in Germany, 5/8 blade. Has a bone handle that looks as though it was replaced after the original. Shaves nice, close and easy.

Any of you guys heard of this "brand"?

Google doesn't tell me much and i figure i may run across an enthusiast here who recognizes the name.

@kurama121 Check at a local beauty supply store or ask your barber if they provide that service. Be sure to sharpen and change your blades often.

@kurama121 Amazon! is my go to for everything! Just type in barber razor, straight razor. Also always use a new blade for each use, especially if you are doing it on a person
