  • Excellent job on pinpointing Cantonese speaking people's pronunciation common problem. Love your lessons but I cannot locate them all in Youtube, e.g. Lesson 27. Any suggestions on how I can see them all? Thanks.

  • 首先多謝你將你英文ge心得係度同我地分享,我現在係澳洲讀緊書,好多吾同國家ge同學都會有佢地本身ge口音,我認為若非要融入當地社會,帶口音的英文在大學裏是可以的,尤其是在講多元文化的大學裏,純正口音並太重要rrr

  • very useful as such things are seldom taught in hk.

  • 外國人又有幾多個可以講到純正既中文口音--

  • Existent呢個字好難喎....

    我成日發左EXIST個S字係Z音-_-

  • Pretty good and accent-free pronounciation.

Notice that the pronounciation ' gz' was used in words with a vowel following the letter 'x' in all but one of the examples provided.

Unfortunately there are seldom strict rules in English, for example exhibit is a 'gz' while exhibition is a 'ks'.

  • i would like some more videos teaching how to pronounce 'water, little'

  • he is missing something here:

the ks sound happens usually when the X is followed by a consonant. whereas if the X is followed by a vowel then the gz sound is used

  • 請問呢個係英式定美式?

  • 講得好.

    日日都吹你 d 片
