Oh my, I just love the first 4mins of this film, doing a photo/music retrospective of Telugu cinema with actors,producers/directors. Lovely composition. Puri Jag has interesting original ideas. :)

and I dont think any remake is bad, 'Even Ramayanam' have remake!.

Copycat is shameful, and remake is not a bad act.

Most of the Pavan Kalyan movies where Remakes.

@Apoorvaragam1 I can give u no: of films where tamil movie was a remake of telugu...then again it was dubbed in telugu...where the song are also lifted...doesnt it sound stupid....u saying pawan movies are remakes....70% of vijay movies are remakes...even the songs are same...u tell me whom should we blame...some of the guys watching original version in telugu movie comment this movie in tamil is good watch it? u tell me sir how it feels?

@ramya302009: Yes, Vijay movies are remakes, Jayam Ravi movies are also Remakes, Danush movies are also remakes. That doesnt mean anything..

Songs using by the same music director is not a Sin, its sin wen somebody else is copying.

Its Horrible to see when its a copy movie, I am a person who is against Copycat movies but dont have problem with Remakes. Even Ramayanam was remaded in Tamil and Telugu 1000s of Years back!

@Apoorvaragam1 Sorry the taste of tamil & telugu audience are different...if its liked by tamil ppl here its a flop.Nadodigal was hit in tamil, in telugu it was flop.so the movies u mentioned in tamil even if its remade in telugu the ppl here might not show interest.but i vedam is remade in tamil.but surya movies are hit in telugu.

Nadodigal was a bad remake in Telugu, the Directer just took the xerox copy of the Tamil, they forgot the expectations of the views.

Okkadu was well remaded in Tamil, Kakka Kakka was well remaded to Telugu, Rudraveena was a mega hit in Tamil also, Vedam will do well here also,

You know the Tamil movie "Puthupettai' was an Average Grosser in TN and higher grosser in Andhra'

@Apoorvaragam1 Yeah most of telugu movies remade in tamil are superduper hits eg.pokiri,santhohsubramaniam,g­hilli.but u can name a few films which are tamil remakes are average in telugu.nowadays all main tamil heroes are mostly depending on remakes inorder to save their market value,they want to be safe and acting in remakes of superhit films of malayalam,telugu.In telugu venkatesh was like that. anyhow even if we debate on this issue the saga of remakes is going on and on

@ramya302009: Thats cultural difference, thats because - one reason - Bad Direction, Second - poor scritpting to adapt with the cultural.

It happened, Even many remakes in Hollywood from Korean Language movies failed to impress - eg: My Sassy Girl.

From Malayalam to Tamil - Flops like Kuselan, Thenkasipattanam.

Telugu to Tamil movies Flips like - Aadhi, Villu, Kick to Thillalangidi

Hindi to Tamil - Flops - Eagan

It completely depends upon the director.

@ramya302009: Surya movies are Hit, Anniyan was Hit, Chandramuki was hit, Sivaji was Hit, Vishal movies (Sandaikozhi, Thimir) was hit, Kadhal was hit, it happens but budded movies from Telugu rarely did well in Tamil.

10 to 15 years back Chiranjeevi movies did well, but then only Mahesh babu could do something, that too only 1 movie - Athadu, Now Magadheera and Arundathi doing well.

Thats the difference. I am not under estimating Tamil or Telugu, I am a fan of both, I am against Hindi

Aathi, Villu, - are not dubbed movies, but remakes that too by one of the biggest star in Tamil, still tat was a flop.

I don't encourage anything except good movies.

I like Tamil Industry, Korean Industry and Telugu Industry for its cinemas and don't have any personal relation with any of these languages.

From 1980 to 1990 - No Langauge whether is Tamil / Hindi / Telugu / Kannada can be near to Malayalam, 1960 to 1970s it was Bengali.

I know few guys who just washes their hand aftr giving shakehand to us, that too in a city like Bangalore.

I am not a Language researcher, I am a Movie Buff, I like Hindi movis as much as Malayalam, now 90% of their movies are craps..
