Man, I remember this song from forty years ago!! I remember it playing on the car radio as my mom was taking us to school. I loved this song!!! It sure brings back memories. So, so many of my relatives are gone now who were alive when that song first came out, including my mom(April 19, 2010). I miss those days--well, some things about those days, anyway.

I saw them sing this song at the first Black Expo in Chicago in `69.

That's cool! I came across this song 30 yrs ago and fell in love with it instantly. I always tell people I was born too late because I wish I was able to catch all of these great performers live in their prime. That's why I'm very thankful for recorded music
