I have one of these myself in black that I reviewed but I do like khaki / foliage look as well. I agree with you that this is a nice range bag. I tried to use this as an EDC bag but ended up going to the Falcon II as the size and weight of the Mongo was uncomfortable at times for a single shoulder strap bag. Nice review - always enjoy your videos.

Good vid Trevor. I am trying to decide about getting the Sabercat versipack. I already have the Proteus and use it regularly with my camera equipment. Looks to be alot of applications to use the sabercat with.

I love my my mongo they are great. Just to let people know the ccw pocket also works as a water bladder pocket with hose feed for exiting the pocket on either side strap.

@gwynn1975 No problem, it seems a little piece of info a lot of people don't know. So I like to share it, even though I am not a water bladder user myself, some people really love them. That little pocket you had your knife in goes all the way into the ccw pocket, as does another sleeve on the outside of the other side of the strap.

Thanks for the video. I think I will stay away from the Mongo. I LOVE my Jumbo, but if it were any bigger, I'd put more inside and that would make the single shoulder strap uncomfortable. Anything bigger than a Jumbo, I want two shoulder straps.

I knew you'd be parading this one out sooner or later. I like the Mongo, but I'd use it for an A to B kinda bag, ALA the range bag your using. Its just too darn big for EDC purposes. Now if only they'd make my Jumbo just a wee bit bigger. Love the Jumbo, but could always use an inch or more room.. Mind you, if I did that, I'd probably just wind up with a Mongo! That said, Love the versipacks. Solid review Trevor!

Thanks Trevor! I've been tossing around the idea of the mongo and the jumbo. After seeing you wearing it and holding it, I have a *realistic* idea of how big this really is! Some other videos don't really show the bag in position.

I think for my EDC pack, Ill go Jumbo, and maybe Ill get the Mongo for a travel bag!
