  • hhmm...if you knock the king over it's a resign. Not great PR IMHO. Great F bike tho.

  • Che moto

    Sono senza parole...

    Ducati per sempre

  • that is the best looking bike ever !

  • nice one .. make it a tv ad

  • portimao!

  • nervosa

  • pornographic...

  • DUCATI=POTERE

  • most beautiful bike i ever seem

  • yeah it looks great but the 1098-1198 looks better!

  • Unbelievebly beatuiful!!!

  • people are going on about the chassis so much, why?!?!

anyone that buys one of these for the street will NOT be able to tell the difference between a carbon chassis and a twin spar. even a quick track day rider won't feel the difference.

looks like its going to be an awesome bike to me. can't wait till i can afford one for the track in a couple of years.

  • When will it be out in the US

  • really really nice!! best superbike!

  • Another road test report is out.

    Check out Motorcyclist online.

    Quotes regarding the chassis:

"exceptional steering agility, so it easily flicks from side to side with none of the heaving required before. And there’s absolutely no vagueness or front-wheel chatter"

    Also

" exceptionally good front-end feedback, especially during deep trail-braking. "

The VisorDown report said the Chassis works "amazingly well"

  • @agusta1968

...But the Bridgestone control tires Rossi & Co. use are significantly stiffer than the Panigale’s Pirellis, which communicate exceptionally good front-end feedback...

  • V-Twin 195 hp??? RESPECT!!! But it is kinda ugly. The headlight is deep, the rims are not beautiflul for single arm, nad the exhaust reminds the KTM RC8, which i hate.

  • Well, the old frame is still being used in WSBK and quite succesfully. So i wouldnt call it a fail.

  • gorgeous bike

  • Okay so someone needs to post proof that this chassis failed prompting duc' to use a different one.

  • So Ducati is changing the chassis when MotoGp 2012 starts?

  • Achingly beautiful :-)

  • I just read a Road test on the Panigale S that just came out from VisorDown.

They mention the Chassis works "amazingly well"

    Check it out online.

  • I wondering why ducati hire engineers, instead reading youtube posts. Youtube posters know much more of bike design, especially frame desing, and they telling it free. I think also needless to hire testriders, and former sbk champions. What can they tell about a new bike, that youtube posters couldn't, simply watching a short video...

  • @simson4t Right mate! this bike will suit me, as also the frame, who gives a shit, I just driving for pleasure , not for a living....

  • Fact is, this bike does not have the same frame as the one used in moto gp where Stoner won races using it anyway when he rode for Ducati.

The only test results for this bike I have seen so far are from Bayliss who went 1/2 second faster on this bike than any other he has ridden.

Real world results > fake accounts voting thumbs up to comments with bogus comparisions

  • @pepebarretto I'll take Bayliss word when he said he went faster on the Panigale than "ANY" bike.

Your "real world" results are from MOTO GP w/ other factors at play, including DIFFERENT BIKE, and not the Panigale which Bayliss actually rode and it tested well.

The GP bike had a different engine, therefore different mounting points and therefore is a DIFFERENT Frame.

Stoner did NOT podium "Everytime on the Honda" and had an illness that kept him out of races when on Ducati.

  • a japanese has created a lot of accounts to put the thumbs up on his own comments!

  • @blau363

LOL, Yes, its obviously one sad person with fake accounts and he also flaged as spam any popular comments he could not vote down enough, even thought they are not spam.

  • If you want to ride with a constant hard-on get the Ducati. There are Lamborghini's, Ferrari's an then there are Camaro's and Jap cars. Take your pick but you only live once.

  • @TheSgt93 Keep your junk in your pants, thanks. As TokyoNoir pointed out, Ducati has already dumped this chassis design, so who in their right mind would purchase a discontinued design that Ducati no longer supports? Do your research and stop behaving like mindless consumer sheeple. If you're buying a bike to ride 2 miles to park in front of the local Starbuck's for oohs and aahs from street people on Saturdays, this is your bike. Just be prepared for some tough questions.

  • @motorcycleronin Why so bent out of shape over my comment!? It's like Ducati raped you as a kid. I'm sure the sales are going to be meager with the 1199, such a horrid design with a piss poor power to weight ratio.......not.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheTokyoNoir however, the motoGP frame was a carbon monocoque. the panigale has an aluminium monocoque. this one might be stiffer and the main problem for motogp is, that the geometrics are almost not adjustable. no one on the streets needs that. if so, he buys a RSV4....

  • @TheTokyoNoir

you like to spend your day creating faked accounts and vote for yourself? that is what people without work do! The crisis is a bad beast! You must study a little more and understand that the Panigale is a SBK like motorbike which has nothing to do with the motoGP. Now waste another couple of hours, log in with faked accounts and spam this comment! go on dumbass!...are u a bit frustrated?

  • @TheTokyoNoir Watch out guys we got a youtube warrior who thinks he's a MotoGP racer. Seriously, the frame is good enough that you aren't going to be able to push it to even 75% of it's potential.

  • Comment removed

  • From Loz Bain article where he references the Panegale frame and not the Moto GP Carbon frame

"Any fear that the monocoque chassis might make it unrideable at extreme angles were dispelled by a single tweet from Ducati's legendary retired SBK champion and now test rider Troy Bayliss, who took the Panigale to Mugello and immediately went half a second faster on it than any bike he's ever ridden before. That was in superbike spec - and as Bayliss put it, "in street form, nothing will come close"

  • @pepebarretto

I agree you should have more than one source for "research". I always wait for multiple rider reports to make a decision.

But whats wrong with a "tweet" ?

Its just another way of communicating. The point is the source of the communication is.

    Troy Bayliss.

My point in mentioning the article was someone else seemed to be quoting it to make a point about the Panigale when the points referenced from the article were about the GP bike and not specifically the Panigale

  • Priceless for a poorly executed, unreadable chassis design that totally failed in MotoGP.

For aggressive street riding or track days on your bike, I'd avoid this one. At extreme lean angles, it's about flex, as suspension is pretty much useless. The prob using the engine as a stressed member of the chassis is that the chassis consists of 2 separate parts of totally different stiffness. The more flexible front subframe is connected to a rigid engine with almost no flex at all. Simply a bad design

  • @motorcycleronin

Did you read Ducati's flagship 1199 Panigale: the full story

    By Loz Blain?

Seems like you quoted a lot of what he said ?

  • @pepebarretto

Yes it was in Gizmag. I don't really know anything about Gizmag, I just googled the technical quotes from another post that was saying the Panigale was a bad design and that Gizmag article came up with matching technical quotes to the post.

BTW I would hope everyone does more research that "Tweets" or YouTube posts

  • Priceless XD

  • don't let it get in the sprockets mate.

  • @666frostyballs666

TROLL What the hell are talking about? I never said Canada sold the most bikes just saying it is popular as most of my friends ride here. Bitter? how do you figure since i own a 1098S Tricolore, full race exhaust and quality shift tech carbon parts. I see no reason to bash one or the other seeing as not a single person here including you can ride any Superbike to it's true potential. It's personal taste.

  • @666frostyballs666

just because we don't ride 365 in Canada doesn't mean riding isn't big industry here, Try going into our GP bikes dealership and tell me that. Judging by your comments you haven't a clue.

  • why do the exhaust have to be on the sides? it's ugly, reduces it's personality and character and most importantly it will burn your legs if you don't avoid it. if it smokes, imagine how ugly it is that the smoke will come from the sides. other than that, everything is perfect.

  • @blau363 check your reply 1 week ago. now, give it a rest and shut up.

  • @ispirikitiktong

again i dont know what u are telling...u have to have problem with your personality.

  • @blau363

if u hate to argue with stupid people like u said in my channel avoid to think...this would avoid to speak to yourself...bet u didnt understand even this!

  • @blau363 c'mon. stop crying now. just not my type, that's all. you like it, i don't. and you thought i vote myself up...hahaha!! i actually have to look back at my comment to actually see how many votes i got. not all minds work like yours and agusta1968. i have better things to do than fool myself. you and agusta1968 should take a break from this for a while.

  • Comment removed

  • @blau363 huhuhu!!! you're so pathetic, you stupid idiot. better check again, you pea brained. maybe you're the one whose confused because you're the one who has multiple accounts.

  • @ispirikitiktong

the language u use tells a lot about your brain potentiality...i dont know what you are referring to!

  • Comment removed

  • Looks beautiful but leaned over, this bike's chassis proved impossible for even the godlike Valentino Rossi to master in MotoGP. Most bikes have an aluminum twin-spar or double wishbone frame that allows sideways flex. At full lean, the bike twists to deal with bumps. For better airflow, weight dist and chassis tuning, Ducati's monocoque design eliminated the frame. The result is an unreadable chassis. I would not buy this bike. Its fundamental flaw makes it dangerous for its intended use.

  • Unusual comments about this video once again.

  • My only problem is I ride 365.If i'm going to dump 25k or more I need to know it will be trustworthy and reliable year after year.Trust me I believe this is the most magnificent machine to grace the planet(My opinion).Sure I ride a 08 CBR1000RR and it burns oil,but for 4 years i've had no problems.I don't own a car or truck. My machine needs to get me to work every day,and take the abuse at Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon.Damn I want this Duc friggen bad!

  • What music did u use?

  • What dolts dislike this? UFB.

    Wankers.

  • sic bike and I literally no NOTHING about bikes - I still play the original nintendo for chri*ts sakes! Excite bike mutha f**kas!

  • Does anybody recognize the track that this is at?

  • @seddy9000 Autódromo Internacional do Algarve aka Portimao Circuit

  • anyone else prefer the 1098/1198? this just isn't doing it for me..Wouldn't sell my Tricolore for this..but that's just me

  • @Kordage Do you mean the 1198/1199? If so, I agree. The 1198 makes the 1199 look like a little pink tricycle. What happened with the tail? On the 10/1198 they had the perfect tail. It looks alot less aggressive.

  • @ZacharyLeon

Yeah the tail is nasty...well the whole look of it really. I'd rather have an R1

  • Bona!

  • Mother of god -meme

  • All I want for Christmas...

  • that is one bad ass machine right there. i would love to have one, damn expensive stuff. sooo sexy though, going for the title this year for sure... keep up the great work

  • 195cv X 164kg di peso... ROBA BONA :D

  • Davvero una moto stupenda , solo al video fa venire i brividi , cmq per ki lo sa perfavore potrebbe scrivere il titolo di questa canzone? anyone know this song's title?

  • whoever made this commercial is probably not quite familiar with chess:) Beautiful bike, though.

  • only difference between this and a motogp bike is it weighs 50lbs more

  • @timone1002 and 200 cc more and 50 hp less... Yes, "minor" differences :D

Viva Guzzi Ducati Moto Morini MotoM Laverda Aermacchi..

  • it's the bike that gotham deserves

  • .....but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt for him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Ducati Panigale.

  • I'd love to play chess that well.

  • @votalele i will love to see that !! but in what class a 1199 can race??

  • I can see there are 2 Ducatistas: the fanatic no matter what and the other who see a Ducati as Engineering Model.

I am more in the engineering side of it. I want to see a Ducati World Champion but comparing apples with apples (like MotoGP), not like Checa winning a champoinship with a 100cc advantage over the rest (WSBK)

  • @cla10cla10 What rubbish! How can you compare a twin with a 4-cylinder bike of the same cc. The series is fair. Ducati are just so good in this series. .

  • WET clutch...........

it would be nice to have dry clutch on Panigale.

  • @endjexejac Maybe it's because of the electronicaly controled engine braking system?

  • @jezuz12345 I don't know but it just not so ducati without dry clutch......what a pity.

  • I would like to see Foggy on this bike.

  • Finely in 2012 with Ducati technology we can go to haeven. The world best bike in all genre

  • Amazinggggg

  • well it looks like Honda CBR 250, but an Italian Far Far Far Greater Version

  • dear santa...

  • Fantastica!! Chi è che guida????

  • Not istanbul, thats portimao

  • One of the greatest gifts that the italians gave to the human kind.

  • I just cannot put into words just how badly I want this machine. It is by far the best ever looking Ducati and motorbike in my opinion.

  • Das ist der Hammer!! Ducati is the Best!!!

  • is this istanbul park?

  • damnit, now i need a new keyboard... i drooled all over mine :-/

  • Awesome
