  • 10 pounds of sugar? Wow? does the sugar not result in their being more than 4 gallons of juice/wine with the volume of the sugar or is 4 gallons what you get with the dissolved sugar? If I use distilled water do I still need to use those tablets(whatever they call them) to fight the germs?

  • The wild grapes you are using look like Elderberries to me.

  • Anyone planning on doing this with frequency should consider getting a food strainer. No need to separate the grapes.

  • @gwynedd1 They are not elderberries, even though they are small like elderberries. This is a true grape, but it is wild.

  • @Phizwiz999

I think you meant to reply to crackerjack. I know they are wild grape. I use them as well

  • What type of yeast did you use? How much? What was the process in which you added the yeast?

  • I love the addition of the "Six weeks", it's like watching a movie on TBS. Great video by the way, I'm going to try this out,Cheers!

  • We calll these "possum grapes" in Eastern KY. I have scads of them on the farm. I will give this a try!

  • @spinnerky

Let me know how it comes out. I think they make a good wine. Since I made the video, I just cut them with scissors into groups of about 10 or 20 instead of using the fork to put them in the blender. It goes a lot faster. Are you sure what you have is the same as mine. Mine have more than one seed.

  • wow, i cant wait to give this a try!

  • lol my sister (she doesnt understand english much) said hes adding ecstasy to the wine 8=

  • wtf so many grapes

  • Glad you liked the video!

  • superb, the only one that actualy gives amounts & times.ignore the rest he's your man

  • thank u for shearing vid

how can i find the tablets that u used?? is there any scintific name for it??

    thax again

  • Good video. Winemaking can be, and often is, an art.

  • nice vid i learned something

  • you should have mashed them with your feet!

  • I suppose that is another way to do it. I found out later that I don't have to use the fork. The blender doesn't get jammed, if I cut the cluster with scissors. Thanks for the comment.
