Why is Fathers' Day always about reminding Dads how important it is to be a Dad, instead of celebrating the Dads that do a good job, like Mothers' Day is? IF the president is serious about fixing the issues related to Father's not being a part of their kids' lives, he should make joint custody automatic on the federal level. there's lots of Deadbeat Dads out there, but there's also alot of DADS BEAT DEAD. Fix custody and you fix fatherlessness.

We do a lot. Not in the American fashion of murdering children though. We have some of the most comprehensive education in the world, and rank higher on the HDI in almost every sphere than the US. And we're the ones currently holding Khandahar, so I wouldn't be talking. Too many Canadians have died where Americans should have, and it's time it stops.

It really depends how it's applied. The reason I mention Canada, but more particularily, the norse, is because they have such well developed systems. Democrats have no idea how socialism works compared to countries like Sweden and Finland.
