I wish i wasn't the only person on my team who thinks that football is only a one season sport, i absolutely hate it, wish i was at a larger school that believed in working all year round to be the best that we can possibly be but they all just gave me excuses
i am in love with everything about high school football. from small town to big city, from football in ohio to football in main, from cheer leaders to the old guys still talking about their playing days, the smell, the butterflies, the sights, the pain, the feeling, my team mates. you might hate some of your team mates but as soon as you put on the same jearsy as them and hit. you soon realize you would take a bullet for them. never forget it.
Never take it for granted, you'll miss it more if you never give it all you have. Friday's are great, that feeling is the best and its hard to put it in words, but you know the feeling. And it comes when you get married and your kids are born. I miss those friday nights already, and im about to be a sophmore, that's how great high school football is and is life, and every football player around the world, even though we dont know each other, were all brothers
Just finished up my senior season of football. Started all 4 years. My senior year we got to 2 championships and lost both them, finishing the season of 11-2. Ill never forget my football memories, its what kept me sane. Every time i watch anything about football i always get depressed because i know those 8 years of football are all gone and ill never be able to play again. Id do anything for just one more shot.

We are one of the few that have not yet and im a senior this year when was a freshman we had 30+ on our team now we are at 15... we dont even have enough to do a full scrimage.. we are considered a dieing art and no one wants to play last year we entered the play offs at 2-6 and went on to be region champs and this year at 15players we are 4-4 goin into play offs. what im saying playin takes heart and we have it

Every football coach says while we are training, they wont train us for cross country, they want to train us for FAST short distances, we are training to sprint anywhere from 10 yards to the whole field, not 5 miles.

I love football, i miss it so much and i just stopped playing, enjoy every single minute of it... from the weightroom, the two-a-days to getting bitched at during saturday morning film. It will be takin away from you one day so play every play like its your last play....or it will be. that time will come to you one day

I do cross country wrestling and track and if I stepped onto a football field I would get eradicated. I'm so skinny that the wind could knock me down.
I would be less skinny if I didn't do cross country and track.
Therefore, cross country makes you worse at football.

I run cross country and football.
Every football coach says while we are training, they wont train us for cross country, they want to train us for FAST short distances, we are training to sprint anywhere from 10 yards to the whole field, not 5 miles.
You don't know what your talking about.
Take cross country off for a year and play football and when you go back you will be better at cross country.

For one of them I play (FB). club called Teutoburgium PitBulls. Play without the equipment because we do not have money to buy. but with no money and the equipment can play if you love football just will not be able to play league

There is nothing that compares to running out of your home side onto the field, under the friday night lights, the crowd going wild. The adrenalin over powering anything.
