Excellent video. I was B 2/11FA from 95 to 98. I really miss that time in my life. After leaving the Army I was fortunate to get on the Police department. I have 7 years left to retire. Boy do I miss Hawaii
You wouldn't be able to walk in off the streets and start filming, but because I was in this unit when I was in the army, and because I still knew one of the dudes there, I was allowed in. I didn't say I was gonna film, so luckily no one said anything and I got my footage.
Great video..!! I was there too...but it was about 1968, and I was about 5 years old...dad was in the 25th and on leave from Viet Nam. Who is that guy at the 7:25 mark? He looks like someone I know but MUCH MUCH younger...HAHA.
