@OHmyGOSHclouds You really need to be more careful and think before you make hasty decisions. Hamsters aren't replaceable toys, they're living creatures.
@OHmyGOSHclouds Yeah the babies probably will have problems. Google up information on robo and winter white breeding problems you'll get all your info there. Though you might not have any problems. Just separate the parents as the night the mom gives birth the father will breed her again and you'll have like 100 hamsters eventually. And separate the siblings into same-sex cages when they're weaned. They will breed each other. Inbreeding in rodents is perfectly acceptable.
Is it okay to keep hamsters in the same cage if they are both the same gender? I have 2 female hamsters, and I keep them in different cages because if they are kept together in the same cage, they fight with each other. They need a 6.5 inch wheel and its not winter that triggers it its day length and if she was a good breeder she would wait until 6 weeks to rehome them. And thats not a sapphire thats a pearl.
She's fine with the wheels she has. Dwarfs do not need wheels that large. Some large Russians benefit from them, but most Winter Whites are fine on the 4" wheel.
Dwarf hamsters can be taken from their mother and rehomed at 3-4 weeks without any ill-side effects as long as they are eating solid food and the new owner is aware of how to take care of them. Leaving them any longer and the males could 1) impregnate the mother or 2) impregnate their siblings.
@L046 they should be gender seperated at that age it actually can have ill effects to remove them too early. and they do NEED a 6.5 inch wheel I have 3 russians ad winter whites are the same size by the way and they need a wheel that big to ensure no arching of the back.
If you think its ok not to do the proper research and get advice from TRUE breeders on care then you should most likely not own a hamster. especially something as delicate as a winter white they are diabetes prone.

Are you assuming I haven't done research? I AM a breeder with a job in the pet care industry. I have had WWs live for 2.5 years in my care and have raised hundreds of healthy, thriving hamsters. Russian Dwarfs are diabetes prone. Winter Whites do not genetically contract diabetes.

@TheSuperHamster2010 i know you arent asking me but not all dwarf hamster are mean. most of the time the pet stores dont bother to tame them themeselves. so even if they are not tame attempt to hold them and if yo cant get them into yor hand. and there is no where else to buy 1 just look at its reaction when u try to pick it up. if there is no other option you can try i suppose.
@iwakocupcake The tubes are bad! It is equally bad, if several small cages are connected with such tubes. Similar to this example, floors may not expand the minimum area! In addition, the hamsters nibble on this plastic. Then the plastic fragments can them hurt from the inside... [sorry for mistakes of english grammar or somthing else]

@Miyukichan24 I have a friend who breeds. and I dont necessarily breed for money, but we do trades for genetics. so sometimes she will give me a certain gene color and I will trade her for one as well :)

@bigtaylorlautnerfan i wouldnt recommend getting 2 hamsters of anything. Because they will breed and have babies. and if they are same sex, they will fight. You should get 2 girl winter whites or 2 girl robos.. but they must both be young or from the same litter.
how many times a week should you clean the tank cuz im thinking of useing a tank. and wich hamste would you recomend to be more friendly or all of the friendly?
@ElghansAnimals101 uhh I think winter whites are pretty friendly. My male has been put with 3 different females and he got along with all of them. And yes.. get a tank! So much easier to clean. I clean mine once a month
@MrHamsterify yes you can ^^ Sadly I had a sapphire female and pearl female so they couldnt make off springs. I'de love to know what the babies would come out as.. More whites or more light gray.. ^^
@mrtre2014 right now i only have 1 winter white pearl and 1 winter white agouti. Plus 6 babies they just had (uknown colors) I used to have syrians, more winter whites, and a bunch of WF robos and Agouti Robos.

@DLajpball23 its easy. you just take the platforms out and dump out the bedding. its going to be heavy so ask a parent for help

@Miyukichan24 I have a friend who breeds. and I dont necessarily breed for money, but we do trades for genetics. so sometimes she will give me a certain gene color and I will trade her for one as well :)

@mangoandpearl a fish tank cover. Its basically a wire top one. Sometimes you can find it at the reptile section of your pet store

@bigtaylorlautnerfan i wouldnt recommend getting 2 hamsters of anything. Because they will breed and have babies. and if they are same sex, they will fight. You should get 2 girl winter whites or 2 girl robos.. but they must both be young or from the same litter.

@ElghansAnimals101 uhh I think winter whites are pretty friendly. My male has been put with 3 different females and he got along with all of them. And yes.. get a tank! So much easier to clean. I clean mine once a month

@mrtre2014 right now i only have 1 winter white pearl and 1 winter white agouti. Plus 6 babies they just had (uknown colors) I used to have syrians, more winter whites, and a bunch of WF robos and Agouti Robos.

@msanapaola1 not really. Sapphire loses her fur every time she gets pregnant. it grows back when she has her babies (this is my other youtube accnt btw)
