A Double pedal is only a crutch for those who DON'T know how to use it. Using a double pedal is not widely used in church situations because most church cats don't know how to use them. It's also a tool to make playing more complicated things easier, so with that being said: Double pedal is a great tool when used properly!

Since way back, gospel, R&B, and Funk drummers dont care for double pedals because it takes more skill to do it with one foot. Its more of a respect thing. Calvin, Aaron Spears, Melvin, Skeeter, and all the top gospel drummers play with one pedal when they could easily afford to get a double. Peace.

Calvin Rodgers completely kills this, and the thing is, he doesn't do too much or take anything away from the outro! Amazing solo, but yet again I have to say Aaron Lindsey has done it YET AGAIN. The man is an absolute genius, comes up with new intros/outros/arrangements, which all sound different but are all brilliant!!
