I think Pat did an excellent job, and it's got to be daunting to be asked by the Doors to sing a Jim Morrison song! I can't think of anyone who would have done better, short of Jim himself.

ehh... I'm a fan of Monahan, but I think he's just giving this song lip service. I mean, he has the voice but he's a bit too cheery and light. I'd be curious to see what else he could do with some other Doors songs.
