Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G (Hardware and Software)

So, wait a minute... the idiot who made this (cough) "review," wasn't aware that you can change the background/wallpaper on the Galaxy Tab??? That is an epic fail! I stopped watching this video as soon as I read that. I was questioning this guys credibility all that time, but as soon as I heard that, I knew he had none. I've owned both the iPad 2 and Galaxy, and he is really slamming the Galaxy. BOTH devices are superb. I can't choose one over the other. And also, the Galaxy has LIVE wallpapers.

Is there a class somewhere that can teach us how to use this tab to it's full potential? I have looked everywhere and I can't find a class or even an online class. I know the basics but I know it can do so much more.

you don't realise just how slim it is until you hold it. it feels great in hand, like the fact the back is plastic gives you more grip and makes it feel lighter. my only gripe is that i have my heart set on windows 8, i like honeycomb but im definitely waiting for devices like this with windows 8. might be a long wait though.

Can you do a comparison between Android tablets? I mean, you already know what you're getting with an iPad, you just have to choose drive space, WiFi/3G, but with Android tablets, there's a lot more to choose from.

You are both right - a spec vs spec comparison simply doesn't make sense. The next video won't focus on specs so much as functionality and capabilities.

Comparison with what in the next video ? An iPad.. Yeah, that's original. From my point of view comparing an Android tablet with an iPad is the most STUPID THING someone can do. It's like comparing Galaxy S2 with the iPhone. You just CAN'T do that. They are completely different OSs. Android requires the 1.2 dual-core of the S2 to run smooth, but the iPhone can run even smoother with only 1 Ghz single-core. Android is a bit more "serious" than iOS which has a PLETHORA of games and cool apps...

@bigsteamfan I agree on some points, but others are not exactly correct.

-They're comparing tablets to the iPad because everyone know what an iPad is. If they compared all of the new tablets to for example a Wievsonic G, it would be pretty pointless.

-Android does not _require_ a 1.2GHz dual core CPU to be smooth, but it certainly has an advantage. iOS is made for one hardware setup, but Android has to be adapted to all types of different phones. That's why it's hard to compare the two OSs.
