That awesome glare Michael Keaton's Batman gives at 0:24 is probably the closest any actor has come to imitating Batman's glare from TAS and the other DCAU series. I know of course that Tim Burton's movies were made before TAS, so maybe it was the DCAU Batman who was imitating Michael Keaton's Bat-glare.
@BaneRises20 i like Nolans batman movies but imho- they come off as being too dull, gritty, corny, pretentious and too clever for their own good, burton's movies are more fun and fantasylike and keaton's batman is so naturally cool and menacing, plus he kills criminals and never looks back with remorse- that is total badass
@elcap22 I can agree with ya on your point, BUT us Hardcore fans can appreciate it. Like at the end of Bat Begins when theyre talking on the rooftop. Some friends were like, Y not just go to Gordon's office. (They were basing that from the 60s Batman TV show).
@BaneRises20 two things mainly A.) one of the noloan films greatest things is also sometimes the worst, it's the dialogue, it's fantastic and deep but it makes the movie a bit preachy and also it's better when you can see the point rather than have it explained
b.) michael keaton is the best live action batman i love christian bale but he's not as good at doing batman as keaton
@BaneRises20 in the end movies are simply based on opinion for instance i enjoy almost every batman film and the only ones i don't like are the schumacher films and i hate those with the passion of a thousand white suns
I like how the Keaton/Burton Batman films were more fun. They had some really dark disturbed bad guys, but also didn't always take itself too seriously. I miss the comic book feel.
Nolan & Bale's Batman isn't bad, the two are very different aInimals even in different "universes" if you will.
I do like Batman in general. What a lot of people overlook is that the Tim Burton villains and Batman had their darksides with a backstory of being evil and psycho. I do miss that.
one question where the fuck does batman keep all his weapons? like in some scenes you see him fighting with not a weapons in sight on his belt then outta knowhere hell whip out this huge weapon.
@Paulpatine omg thats so true. when i think batman, i can help it, i think keaton., not kilmer. not bale. keaton. he just had the batman look downpat. even when i play arkham assylumgames, its keaton as batman that it alwatys evokes to me.
What is the name of that weapon that, that bad clown is holding while holding Selina hostage? It looks like an electrical shocker. The weapon does look powerful enough to kill someone however, it looks like a strange weapon to have when doing battle, especially when all the other bad guys on this movie have weapons that are guns, swords, knives, nunchucks, and bombs.
@afriendofbean - It's probably a secondary weapon he keeps about his person in-case he has to get up close and personal. I'm sure he has a pistol or machine gun with him at all times.
@intheTea04 That's a good point. I guess maybe he decided to use his electrical shocker on Selina instead of wasting a bullet if he has a gun with him.
@afriendofbean - Also, without wishing to sound creepy or anything, tormenting someone with an electrical shocker in close quarters is probably more satisfying if the sicko doing it likes to prolong the pain. A quick bullet in the head may do the job efficiently but the thrill of the hunt is over too quickly. God I hope nobody from the authorities reading this. I've probably alerted the FBI with the above, lol
@intheTea04 Yes, since that bad guy is a clown and since clowns make people laugh that clown must be the opposite where he likes to do the laughing and when using his electrical shocker to shock Selina, he must love to laugh and watch her jolt as she's getting electricuted and watch her suffer which will make the bad clown laugh.
@Someto1 Thank you. Just like intheTea04 mentioned that, that bad clown must have a gun to do battle but, I guess he must use his Taser only to hold a person hostage.
@jlawson97 Thank you. Even if that bad clown has a gun that intheTea04 mentioned to me, I still think it's strange how that bad clown has a tazer as a weapon he is using to hold Selena hostage instead of his gun if he has one.
@InShatteredMolds Thank you. I guess the reason I didn't know it was a taser was because, I haven't seen too many movies with a taser in them (I think I remember there was a taser in the movie "Jingle All The Way") and I was never told what the name of that weapon was. So, seeing a taser on this YouTube video clip movie, it makes it easier to ask the question what the name of the weapon was since I have a YouTube username.
@Two27Face Thank you. I also remember on the first film that Batman used his spear gun to cause the "Joker's" leg to get tied up against a statue on a cathedral before the "Joker" died.

@darthgoku135 Batman TAS too a very big inspiaration from Tim Burton's films. Espeiclly how it portrayed Batman as a much darker character.
