We purchased our MMH new in 2007, it now is 2012, and is at 80,000 miles. Only thing we have ever fixed on this car is sway bar bushings. This thing is AWESOME!!!
The Mercury Mariner Hybrid can achieve 32 MPG. That's Best MPG among all SUV's in the Market. Price at $29,860 it's also the least expensive but Loaded with Features and Technology. I recommend the Mercury Mariner Hybrid to those in the market for a traveling vehicle.
My 2006 Merc. Mariner Hybrid is stopping. A message comes on the dash that says "Safely pull over". Then won't start for some time. Does anybody have any Ideas.
Hybrid is crappy technology, Keep the Duratech engine in all mariners, so much power to them! and for articsnow, Mercury is a great american car company withn ford, LEXUS IS SHITTY TOYOTA!
A used Lexus RX is better then a new Mariner. A used Lexus RX costs less then a new mariner or a new RX costs about 25% more. A Toyota Rav4 is not a hybrid, but a better SUV then the Mariner. Anyway one looks at it the Mariner is just another crappy Ford.
The Mariner was a disappointment in off road or snow driving. The AWD slipped and the gear box kept switching gears at awkward moments. Nice part... it looks nice. But its purely a soccer mom car.
