can any one tell me if its legal to ride with a dog in uk on a provissional i got a good ruckskack for her and its like a 15 min ride plus shes only a little jack russel i have got a full uk car license but not passed my bike test yet, i dont want to do it its not legal

riding with a dog is like riding on ice with a street bike...no sudden moves and be very fluid..i am a way better rider having that experience but this is not for every one or every dog and should be learned on a closed course and never on the street..one wrong move and your dogs hamburger with proper preparation and practice its the funnest thing ever for me and the dog..we go down to the local off-leash area and the other dogs are so jealous!(johnny dog is very proud also).

I am a dog owner and a sports bike owner. The danger isn't for the dog ( See a loads of dogs fall of bikes, horses, trucks they roll really well and where fine they take a crash way better then a human!)

Its the fact the dog can't lean unless its super smart and you teach it.

@bongmannz not all dogs are natural riders..my oldest (70 lbs white shep-x) is ... he anticipates and leans into the corners way better than most humans...he loves to ride, and yes they tend to do a little better in crashes!...we took a dump and where all right, good thing he wasn't tied to the bike as a lot of clowns suggest to us all the time..its one of the most common questions(do you tie him down to the bike?) i get asked. i cant believe anyone would think that a good idea but lots do.

Anybody that thinks this guy has the dog unsecured on this moyorcycle is mistaken. I'm not going to say that you're an idiot for thinking that, but I would pose one question to you.. If he actually wanted to hurt the dog in any way, wouldn't it be easier to just kick the fugg'n thing?

Actually, they've only had one accident together, sideswiped by a stupid driver trying to take their picture (no serious injury, but a hit and run all the same).

Yea, may be true, but it is like the lady who choses to walk nude down the street, even though the cars crashing are doing by thier own fault, the lady still was the idiot for walking nude. This guy obviously has no respect for the dog! Anyone who has ever driven a motorcycle knows that even when they don't have a dog on the back, they are targets for idiot drivers, hence, this guy is an idiot, not for his safety, but the wonderful animal sitting behind him!
