This tune was my indoc to Hapa, Barry Flanagan, and "slack key"...I lived Oahu as a military brat and I loved it...I was there when Woodstock happened--we felt we missed something, even at 12-13 yrs old. Little did I realize the blessing I had at the time of living everyday life in Hawaii. All my best memories are of Hawaii, is only when blessed with the wisdom of maturity I fully appreciate. My next trip to Hawaii will be one way...just as soon as I get the hang of playin kī hōʻalu ! Mahalo
