  • Is it like you have to "prove" you are a Dj or etc etc to get those promos. Is there a cost to join those things.

  • @fueledbymusic3

Yes, they usually make you sign something or show proof that you are a legitimate working dj. It's actually illegal for them to sell these to you if you are just a music hobbyist. Another option are Dj music pools. Some have video too if you're a Video-SL guy or whatnot. Some that come to mind are 8thwonderpromos and Mymp3pool

  • Do you know where to get digital tracks of songs which contain the instrumental and acapella separately?

  • OK, thanks. also do you know of any software for recording from a Yamaha keyboard to the computer?

  • Any DAW software (Protools, cubase, even the new Acid 6) are all midi compliant. As long as the program supports midi you should be able to record from any keyboard you desire. (99% of all keyboards support midi.)

  • I am trying to make my own techno songs from scratch or from sampling beats. I'm looking to make Trance songs. Could you help me out by giving me the names of some programs for layering beats and sounds to play as one song?

  • The easiest one to use would be Acid Pro, and then some kind of a wav editor like Sound Forge. However, you should be able to use any kind of multitrack software to accomplish this (e.g. Cubase, ProTools, etc)

  • I've never had any problems with limewire for music always good quality, but the programs that you can download on limewire are always viruses.

  • limewire is the worst place to go for quality music. if you think it's always good quality, you don't know enough about mp3 audio.

  • just download music from limewire

  • Limewire is a hit or miss on the quality of the music. Half of the files are either corrupted or very low bitrate.
