Why would we ever need a private led army (I swedish by the way)? The Government should take care of all military matters. That is my short take on this debate. There are things that governments around the world never should give away to private interests and there are things that the government absolutly should give away to private interests.
The guy making the calculations at the end is retarded . Who as a military contractor is going to work 365 days a year for 40 years? They wouldn't get year long contracts . And they wouldn't want to work that long or for that many years .
Erik prince is the man, period. These guys are trying to trap a well educated Navy SEAL into their little BS politics and everytime he slams them right back,
Yep it would be unclear to me when someone throws obscure math figures at me too. #1 how many time does Mr. Prince have to state $1200 IS NOT his employee's take-home salary? #2 I don't know anyone who works 365 days a year. #3 So Bruce Braley truely believes this man who was killed would have worked EVERY day of his life up until he was 80 years of age? So Yah, I guess it's not clear to me either, how these figures are used.
Someone who made money off people who died and he gets away with murder, great? He doesn't go to Iraq, and I hope to hear more American who stand for "no body deserve to die for corporations who make money off war" That's constructive, that's destructive instead. This guy was too greedy to send more equipment to Afghanistan and you think privatization is a solution for verything big deal, I would say waht a rip off!
Who said he got away with Murder? Do your research. They just didn't want him tried in a gov't that even your Democrats admit they can't trust. And of course you hope to hear more Americans knock capitalism. Which is what this is. All of your post idealize a communistic attitude! Please do us a favor and buy yourself a one-way ticket to North Korea. Don't worry it'll only be temporary, because we will be there next to bail your dumb ass out. After you relized communism isn't that great.
Slimane forgive me if I get this wrong but you don't know how to punctuate a sentence and I am thoroughly confused. Were you referring to Erik Prince not going to Iraq? Nice attempt at a low blow. But, I'm sorry he already risked his life fighting for our country as a Navy Seal. What have you accomplished for our great country? But I regress because you shout about respect and morals yet give no respect to a special forces veteran. And I'm not qualified to teach the retarded.
lol..i usually dont comment..But what a horrible question and he tried to act all cool with his math...haha. that math is so illogical it is insane to think about. I worked in a contract where are guys got paid 35 dollars an hour prevaling wage. The contract is about 110 dollars per hour, because you factor in equipment, travel, insurance, fees paid to the govermenrt, disposal fees, etc, etc. It's embarrising that a man like that has a say in our goverement what a moron!
That math not only makes no sense, it's absurd. To think any person would make the full amount of the contract as their salary or that they would work 365 days/yr for 40+ years.
If Al Gore invented the internet & Global Warming this guy definitely invented congressional math.
All of these things are moot, if one would just look at a BW to see that they are not immune to all law, if they commit crimes they can be charged under US law and the immunity can be waved to be charged under Iraqi law. It's all sound bites and hype.
seriuosly the congressmen/women all seem like complete morons, (no wonder their approval rating is so low their all blowhards wanting a sound bite) i was really hoping denis kucinich would tear into him. he did so well during the debates (even though he only got about 1/2 the time hill-bama-wards got) but he just fell flat. i mean the dems all seem like they have an agenda and the rep's all seem like cronies.

re "seriuosly the congressmen/women all seem like complete morons,"
It's not hard to look like it when they are.
re "approval rating so low"
Much lower than the rating of Bush, who they like to point out has a low rating.
