It's all true what bob knight said.. my cousin graduated from Kentucky in 2010 and had a class with one of the players. Not mentioning any names but he did only show up to 3 classes to get his take home tests, and take home exams and every month he would some how end up with a 1,000 dollars and would have a "kyblow-out"
@Mmorehouse2289 I'm more than sure that is a lie. I had a 200 level class and only went to it 6 times the whole semester and passed. Most UK professor post lecture notes or audio on BlackBoard. You don't have to go to class every single day to pass it. As for the "kyblow-out" which I'm suspecting your pointed to drugs, that would be a lie too. You get caught drugging and failing you get sent away FAR away. I.E. Darnell Dodson
@CGRAY1171RELOADED Agreed. We're not like Syracuse. We don't let drug-taking players play. As far as Bob Knight goes, he may have the image of running a clean program (for all we know) but how do we know he didn't commit any violations that were just swept under the rug by the NCAA? He committed a violation after retiring by calling up a recruit his son was trying to get. You'd think someone with a "clean record" would know better.
@chigg141 Umm we didn't get the death penalty and if Kentucky is dirty because of Eddie Sutton then Indiana is dirty because of Kelvin Sampson. You know who else has some straight shady violations that they never received punishment for? JOHN WOODEN AND COACH K. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Nope, you just rely on ESPN to feed you BS.
@chigg141 No, you obviously don't know what the death penalty is. SMU football got the death penalty. What that means is that they couldn't play the sport at all for that period of time. Kentucky got postseason probation which they were still allowed to play the season but couldn't participate in the conference or NCAA tourney. And Wooden didn't get anything vacated. The 1980 season got vacated under Larry Brown, I believe even though most violations occurred under Wooden.

@TheWarrior2Game7 Actually, that honor belongs to Kansas, the program with the most violations in the history of college basketball. Look that statement up instead of believing internet trash or what ESPN analyst tell you.
Funny thing is, is that i went to class with cousins during the spring semester. Knight is just bias towards kentucky due to all those years at Indiana. Besides whos gonna take a mentally ill man serious anywayz
He's right. Do you really think that Wall and Cousins focused on their academics. I know Brandon Knight was a brilliant student in high school, but I doubt he went to classes either. Focus on the pros.
@TheSlobby50 Wall was an "A" student mostly. I have two friends that go to UK, one of them had one class with Bledsoe and Cousins had a class at the same time, in the same building a few doors down (and he saw him go to that class everyday). He has a photo on his facebook of him and Bledsoe right after that class, outside of the classroom. And fyi, I'm a Duke fan.
@TheSlobby50 Knight was a 4.0 student and never got a B from grades 1 through freshmen year of college. He most certainly went to class. Rival fans just talk out of their ass all the time.
patrick patterson started and he graduated in 3 years and he was very smart and john wall had a 3.5 gpa how can u be so ignorant when you dont even kno the facts?
i dont doubt what Knight said. whats the big deal? there are so many basketball players/ pro athletes committing crimes these days. why scrutinize this issue? lol
@buenavista222 your stupid they all went to class patrick patterson graduated with all A's and everyone else passed their spring classes besides daniel orton who didnt even start
