The mere concept that an "average" family needs to have $200,000 in order to be properly fed, sheltered, clothed, just amazing that he thinks his family MUST HAVE that kind of income in order to live for a year. The man has a full time job, with $175,000 in income to "represent" the people of his district, AND he thinks he deserves ANN the earnings from his business ventures, (which he certainly CANNOT manage on a daily basis from DC),,,,,what incredible arrogance!

I doubt it's a lack of information, that if they knew how poor people were they'd change. They make excuses to pretend the death sentence we give people without healthcare is justified, and would find a way to sooth their conscience no matter what, would be harder if we always told them what their actions resulted in. I just don't know what anyone would need with that much money, our family gets more than all it needs on 10 times less.
