Neither of them are 6 speed automatic. The Lancer GTS has a CVT with 6 pre-selected gear ratio's, and the initial release of the Prototype X (Evo X(10)) is slated to have a DSG (Dual Shaft) automated MANUAL tranny and is expected to have a later release with a 6 speed manual.. I already have the GTS with CVT, and if things go well (financially,) I'll sell and get the EVO X next year. (I couldn't wait that long to experience the new lancer...) :-)
cvt would be funny with 280 ps.. i think its poissible to combinate. nissans offers 3,5l with same power and cvt. i love cvt transmissions. i drive bmw automatic with 5 speed and its fun with 250ps. i dont thin to choise a manual again.
