But in warfare, there is no sin in killing a combatant. Nor is there any sin in capital punishment. It is only the butchery of the innocent which God forbids. So long as you are the only one threatened, then yes, you are correct. But when other innocent life is at stake, then it would be wrong to sit there and watch them be harmed. If someone tries to kill me, I will fight for my life, but won't kill them. But if anyone tries to hurt my family, he will die by my hand, for I will not suffer an innocent to be harmed while I can defend them.
