There is nothing wrong with V8s. What ever happened to the Ford GT. Thats exactly the kind of supercars USA should make. Why arent they making the Cobra Concept forexample. There seems to be an enormous lack of investment in upper class vehicles in USA. Meanwhile 40% of European top end vehicles are sold on the american market with no competition from domestic brands. USA has the Corvette and thats it. Still... Porsche sells 12 times more cars.

The Ford GT is actually using a truck engine just like the Viper. Because while European supercars are expensive showcases for the latest in tech, buildquality and styling, in america performance cars are ment to appeal to patriotism and nostalgia. Therefore a cheap huge engine suits their needs.
Obviously they sell for alot more now due to short production and a ridiculously bargain price tag to start with. Actually they were losing money on it. Which is why it was cut 500 cars too early when Ford ran into money trouble.
Traditionally american flag-ship cars were sold at a loss to attract customers to the brand name. So thats not exactly something new. What they SHOULD have done is up its price and quality to match Gallardo territory and keep making them.
Infact... Viper ACR, Corvette ZR1 and Cadillac CTS-V are sold at a loss or break-even too. They dont make money on them. They only exsist to be used in tests, reviews and media stunts. Not many are sold and the factory often gives out especially tweaked versions for reviewers to hype the brands. While people actually buy the cheaper, much less talented models.
America dont make supercars... Not because they CANT. They just dont. It all comes down to a lack of investment. Falcon, Scorpion, Mach7, Vector, RossionQ1, Revenge Verde, Dagger GT, there is no shortage of people wanting to make supercars but they struggle to find investors that believe in them. Businessmen who want to invest in such projects have advisors. Advisors will tell them every single US supercar has sold 20 cars and gone bankrupt, so they dont recommend investing in it.

This is a good concept for a super car but their biggest flaw is that the patent for this type of engine technology had already been established though unsuccessfully developed by a filipino named Daniel Dingel back in the mid 90s. he succesfully applied these engine designs to almost all of his average everyday vehicles the most popular of which was his toyota corolla. By creating the hydro in realtime you prevent massive storage quantities to leak & catch fire or worse, explode!
I do not know enough about it to say yes. But what I can say are there are great cars with a lot of history and hundreds of millions spent on research and development and racing adaptation that this car does not, and some of them are cheaper. (Some Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, etc)

@StreetSpeed10 I assume you are talking about CO2. CO2 is a gas that is used by plants for photosynthesis. That is why some "tree huggers" may take on the deforestation debate, among other reasons such as global warming. The only other gas that is expelled is H2O, which is also expelled in the form of droplets. H2O -last I checked- is not harmful.

@Cerulean0987 Lol I was refereeing to Co2. Yes helpful to some, harmful to some. We also have our waste, which our solid waste is helpful in some ways and harmful to others. Are liquid waste is the same. I was also referring to the human race just living. We are very destructive just a little FYI.

@StreetSpeed10 Well our solid waste is more of a product of eating and metabolism. And we all need to eat. I must say I really don't know much of the content of shit- to be crass. So all animals must excrete. So we really can't change that, unless we all go killing off everyone else (I can think of a few republicans I'd like to send off to the rapture earlier). So in effect, we have to think of other ways to control the buildup of harmful gasses in our environment.

Its exterior design reminds me of a mix between a porshe 911 turbo and a shelby. Also a little boxer added into the mix regardless of it being a supercar which I'm well aware of.

Hydrogen combustion in itself does not reduce the carbon content of surrounding air, but burning hydrogen fuel INSTEAD of a portion of high carbon fuel would result in a decrease of carbon emissions when compared to burning entirely high carbon gas. Its not voodoo itsdatruf

Car looks good. But, the CO2 argument is based on false information. CO2 does not cause global warming, it is a result of the earth warming. Try and get real factual evidence about so called global warming... you wont find any. The earth is heated by the big fusion reactor in the sky ! The Sun.

@mworld You are right and wrong. According to my geology professor, the Earth is in fact heating up without the help of CO2. However, CO2 is also contributing to the warming of the earth. The only problem is they haven't determined how much CO2 plays a role in the heating of the Earth, hence the big debate taking place

The bio-diesel also burns the CO2, The point about global warming is not to encourage it but to keep the temperatures on earth steady so the human kind could live long enough, because now the earth should be cooling instead of warming, neither both of the solutions are good for mankind (cooling or warming), so the thing is to keep the CO2 in the atmosphere in balance. I think that we must reduse the greengasses on earth with technology :) So yeah its a start :)

This is a good concept for a super car but their biggest flaw is that the patent for this type of engine technology had already been established though unsuccessfully developed by a filipino named Daniel Dingel back in the mid 90s. he succesfully applied these engine designs to almost all of his average everyday vehicles the most popular of which was his toyota corolla. By creating the hydro in realtime you prevent massive storage quantities to leak & catch fire or worse, explode!

I do not know enough about it to say yes. But what I can say are there are great cars with a lot of history and hundreds of millions spent on research and development and racing adaptation that this car does not, and some of them are cheaper. (Some Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, etc)
A Lamborghini Gallardo 560-4 is what, 198k? A Porsche GT2 is in the scorpions price range. Would I take a Scorpion over a Lamborghini 560-4? lol...not a chance. I'll take the Lambo and have 50k for gas.
