elton may be a legend, but chris really brings so much beauty to this song. his voice and strumming just rips into your soul! you can tell he has so much more soul than there is in the music he ordinarily performs, since i'm sure, coming from american idol, he has to perform what his record label tells him too. :( i wish he'd do more songs like this, and i REALLY wish he'd do a full cover of Renegade by Styx!!

Man, it must be great to sit around a campfire with Chris and his acoustic. A stripped version will never sound as good as a studio or live version with other instruments, but it's a more pure version and he made it his own. Remember, it's not some karaoke version, but sung with just one instrument and a couple of mics.

I love this song because you can tell that it mean so much more to him. In my opinion the song means a ton to an artist because they pretty much are "Rocketmen" they are on tour forever and you cant raise a kid while on tour, they miss their family, there is another persona that they have to live out as a musical icon rather than a "dad" or "husband"
