Nice one Paul. Brings it all flooding back. That bloke near the end was lucky, I had a real nasty accident down at Horse Guards when a bomb went off and spooked my horse. Why were the boxmen by the chits rather than out in the boxes facing Whitehall? Has something changed?

In 1982, the IRA attacked the Regiment in Hyde Park with a vehicle packed with explosives which was remotely detonated as the regiment passed by. 8 Troopers and 7 horses were killed

They get fed and watered just before Queens Life Guard, Then again when they get down to Horseguards, The horses on show in the boxes are only there for an hour at a time. The horses get better treatment than the troopers lol.

This is a fantastic ceremony, ive seen it hundreds off times as i used to work near there and i STILL like to watch it and im 54!!!
