This is great! My grandmother took me to see Pat Boone in El Paso and these guys opened up for him. I can't remember a thing about Pat Boone except he was dressed in white. These guys were fantastic and blew him away. I bought this album and played it for years!

Jeez, my Mom had this record and about 100 others like it. She was really into the late 40's early 50's Latin Music craze, thanks to Carmen Miranda, Jose Yterbi, and the Three Caballeros.

They performed this on the Hollywood Palace tape I have! (hosted by Elizabeth Montgomery- also on YouTube). They also did "Acapulco 1922".

I loved the Baja Marimba Band as a child. It feels a little kitshy today though!! Love it!!

That was Joe "Fingers" Carr. In the 1950's. That was the original Hit Version. Joe Carr was also known as the bandleader for all of Allan Shermans Hits.

I love these guys. I have seen them twice in concert. Even had lunch with them. I have all their albums on vinyl.

Love this song. The version is not as good as Joe Fingers Carr.But I still like the music.
