  • If you guys want to hear the song without the dialogue track, go here watch?v=JKs1kQDQvsM

The extended guitar intro isn't in it though D:

  • beautiful

  • Phenomal.

  • i hate that they put the little talking bit right in the middle. especially since it's over the "do you miss the blend..." part.

  • digging Brian's shoes.. I have them.

  • Where's Garrett?

  • Is it just that one guitar or are there others?

  • how is 1 dislike taking back sunday? ignorant comment.

  • @hurleyskateava He's saying TBS disliked the video. Because there used to be a rift between the two bands

  • @phixsmusic2 I know all about their issue but its still dumb, tbs and brand new have been friends for a long time that happened years and years ago.

  • i reaaaaaallly wish they would release this version without the interview talking over it. its perfect.

  • @jparkinson Download the Daisy Sessions EP. It's all clean.

  • I'm so in love with his voice.

  • 27,605 of these views are me.

  • Hey guys, this is a bit cheeky, but my band (anderson) are trying to seek fans of truly good music, and where better than here? We aren't necessarily mainstream, which is why we are targeting people who listen to the bands that we love. Hopefully you guys could give us a minute and listen to a couple of our new Demo's? thaaaankyou! here's our myspace...myspace/andersonband you can also find us on facebook :) x

  • 1 dislike= Taking Back Sunday

  • I THINK I JUST POINTED OUT A FLAW ON JESSE!

    HE HAS TOW THUMBS!

  • Goddammit jesse is the man

  • seriously amazing, his voice just gets me, every single time.

  • Jesse holds the pic weird here XD

  • @blink182fan10 Amazingly, that's how.

  • "Was losing all my friends... and I want 'em back." Amazing how changing one word can affect the tone of a song so much.

  • oh my god i fucking love how he starts singing 'tryin to get the seeds into the cold ground..." too... jessie lacy is the ONLY man i can watch sing and just be COMPLETELY mesmerized.... and feel happy and sad as hell at the same time... his voice makes me feel like im gonna cry in these Daisy Sessions... lol... love him so fucking much....

  • Does anyone know how this is played? I really want to play it in my next acoustic gig. THanks.

  • @blink182fan10

    capo 2nd fret

relative to the capo a string 7th fret d string 5th,

    e string 7th a 5th, e string 5th a 7th, e string 3rd a string 5th

    figure out timing and repeat

  • Before you put my body in the cold ground, take some time to warm it with your hands....

The bridges are so incredible here. Just when I thought I'd heard every amazing version of every amazing song from Brand New.

  • soo does anyone else realize how amazing jesse lacey is?

  • Much prefer this version, as it doesn't have the insanely loud "YEAH"'s in it...

  • MP3 for this?

  • @DainEllis go to dirpy.com it turns youtube vids into mp3s i swear by it hahha

  • Posted it before, but it's pretty accurate describing my mood lately. Even if you've heard the song before, check it out. It's an alternate version

  • @KingBoots8 wow i'm dumb, wrote the last post in the wrong box. Might as well say how much this version kicks ass now i guess lol. I really wish they didn't insert parts of the interview mid-song, but i'd rather have this than nothing at all. I've got to agree with many of the other posters and say that the "seeds/body" parts of the bridge sound amazing here. Wish they did a few more for the Daisy Sessions because everything they did worked so well.

  • Brand New is amazing, they're music is definitely always going to get more and more creative and new.

A lot like Thrice in how these bands change up and each new album is something completely new to hear and experience.

  • @LithiumPostScript its almost like they reinvent themselves. i think a lot of it comes from their wide influences and complete disregard for genres. and of course because both bands are endlessly creative

  • fucking beautiful, still one of my favorite brand new songs

  • That's a lucky Shure SM7 dude :) x

  • That is a lucky microphone.

  • "Before you put my body in the cold ground,

take some time to warm it with your hands".

    Beautiful lyrics

  • "We talk JIVE on each other.."

  • did they release this? they did at the bottom and bed on itunes and bought a bride on amazon, but where's this?

  • i cant find them on itunes. but i really want them. any help?

  • @TheradiomanofYT at the bottom, bed and bought a bride are from the album Daisy.... This song (sewing season) is from the album before that...'The devil and god are raging inside me). its on Itunes x

  • @Thisdevastatedfan i know all that, i mean this live acoustic version

  • Why aren't there more views on this lol. Amazing.

  • i love this video, perfection !

  • capo not there at beginning camera angle. then capo????? weird?

  • They prolly played it twice

  • @codypeters54901 he's that good

  • @codypeters54901 jesse moved it, with his third hand

  • @codypeters54901 It's there. You can kinda see the line on the fretboard, I think the rest of it is lost to the shadow.

  • @codypeters54901 It looks like the director or editor used clips from at least two or three takes of him playing the song.

  • @codypeters54901 It's because Jesse Lacey has godlike music powers...only logical explanation.

  • @codypeters54901 Multiple takes of the song from multiple angles. He wanted to try to the song in different keys maybe, but only one version ends up getting used, but the video from all of them makes for a better video so the capo was there and then gone for other shots/angles/takes.

  • @codypeters54901 Magic

  • @codypeters54901 Probably started a take with guitar tuned up, maybe didn't like it, switched it over. possibility that none of the video you see is the actual audio. A lot of variables go into tracking, then you add a camera. Only they know.

  • I love how he sings the part "trying to get the seeds into the cold ground..."

  • @killingtime1wontstop i love how he sings every part of every song

  • "Do you guys have your own message boards"

    Is this guy retarded?

  • Does anyone have a version without the fucking voiceover in the middle. Kind of ruins the song.

  • Might be able to cut one together with other chunks of the song....

There is another part where they're both talking at the same time though...

  • zomfg wot a voice eh?

  • I kinda prefer this to the original.

  • jesse lacey is a god [1]

  • this is the best version of Sowing Season i have ever heard them do.

  • great music/albums

  • amen

  • jesse lacey is a god
