@Tacos4Tots you have probably never even ridden half of the bikes listed here in your life. ive owned 2 haros and neither of them had serious problems like that. ive dropped off the exact same ledge as a fit and my frame didn't crack but his did. the problem USUALLY comes from rust under that piece that is only half welded to the frame witch is supposed to prevent cracking. except the brace is rarely welded all the way around.

what lots of people dont know is ith the metal used for the frame is the biggest factor. asian metal and american metals r the only places metal is gotten from. american metals are stronger because the minerals in usa r stronger and are more held together. asian metals minerals are weaker. also hitensile steel frames and chromoly are a factor, steel is heavier and weaker but cheaper, vice versa for chromoly

@supestarDj actually, rust doesnt play a factor in this,the rust didnt corrode it, it takes a long time for rust to corrode a frame, about 10+ years for barely anything noticable. you can have a really good quality frame and have had it for 5 years, its still going to have rust. the main to reason a frame breaks is because of the type of metal, there are two metals used for frames. hi tensile steel and chromoly, steel is heavier weaker but cheaper, vice versa for chromoly

Q. what would happen if you put a bare piece of bare steel in the rain overnight? A. surface rust will appear the next morning. All it takes is for some water to get in through the headstem and the water can sit there for weeks.
