@Crisstti Actually it does matter. They often put a clock on Nadal and he is more often then not way over the time limit. This is very annoying to the spectators and the opponent. The thing is that the chicken umpires never gives him a warning because he is Nadal.

Söderling is a very good player. I dislike players who don't go to net. Nadal has a good physical but his tennis is not so good. If he feel tired he loses matches very often. See Australian Open 2011, Nadal was not fit and he losed versus Ferrer. If I had Nadal legs and arms I am better;)

It's not like he just runs to the ball and uses his arm strength to get it back over. you have to set up for each and every ball (very hard to keep the mental game consistent) and you have to time your legs, torso rotation, arm swing, and wrist snap into one motion. So no, granted I don't know you, but I doubt you'd be "better."

So you are right the spin is extraordinary but it is an other generation and the staff(racquets and strings) are more developed. @lolmenot It doesn't matter that Rafa is slow between points. That is not against the rules. There is a time that players can take to serve. So there is no reason for the unpires to give him a warning at all.

@Crisstti Actually it does matter. They often put a clock on Nadal and he is more often then not way over the time limit. This is very annoying to the spectators and the opponent. The thing is that the chicken umpires never gives him a warning because he is Nadal.

But he isn't the only one, and what the lack of warnings (towards any player) shows is that the rule is just not strictly enforced. It is annoying to some spectators, others don't mind. And clearly most players don't mind either, just the classless ones like Soderling...

@Crisstti Well I think it´s really annoying and I don´t care who the player is. The umpires are a bunch of spineless morons who doesn´t follow the rulebook. The same happens all the time when challenges are beeing made. The player takes like 5-6 seconds to look for the mark then looks up to the trainer and then decides to challenge. And offcourse the umpire sits on his ass and let them challenge..discusting. But I agree that Soderling is a moron with no talent what so ever.

In my eyes, Nadal is the player with worst manners and sportmanship of all the top players. The umpires needs to take a stand against his ever present delaying of the game. He's just so selfcentered and if Soderling is a bad looser, Nadal is definitely 10 times worse.

However, the game is about winning and since the referee's doesn't do anything about it, he will, of course, continue doing what works for him. I can't really see why people think that Soderling is so bad, on the court he definitely has more sportsmanship than Nadal and off the court I also think that Soderling gives a nicer impression.

Soderling was just looking for battle. If a player take to much time to serve, the umpire will tell. This video show only bad things and focussing on it will make you hate tennis. I hope you will look the legend of Rafael Nadal the same way Federer has. Anyway, soderling will never become a great player... too bad we such kind of bad looser player! :(

Saying he can't volley is utter ridiculous, if you truly watch nadal play he has some of the softest hands when it comes to volleying, but he just chooses to wear his opponents out on the baseline. If you truly see the stats at every major his point win percentage when he comes to the net is nearly perfect. @caliboikhoi Bullshit. When you play a major and you are number one you must win a match about a good clay court player. He lost in three sets, very bad. Boris Becker had, 1996, a cold with temperature and he felt ill, he would cancel the match and he won the major. Nadal had a virus for perhaps one day and before he practiced a lot and he was in good shape. Come to me I show you how to play tennis.

Söderling is a very good player. I dislike players who don't go to net. Nadal has a good physical but his tennis is not so good. If he feel tired he loses matches very often. See Australian Open 2011, Nadal was not fit and he losed versus Ferrer. If I had Nadal legs and arms I am better;)

It's not like he just runs to the ball and uses his arm strength to get it back over. you have to set up for each and every ball (very hard to keep the mental game consistent) and you have to time your legs, torso rotation, arm swing, and wrist snap into one motion. So no, granted I don't know you, but I doubt you'd be "better."

@weej267 See Brugera, Corretja or other spanish guys. They all played a lot of spin and it was in the 90s. So you are right the spin is extraordinary but it is an other generation and the staff(racquets and strings) are more developed. Show McEnroe he didn't make anything with his wrist but for me he was the most talented player. Nadal has seen that he could win a tournament very easily but now a generation grown up. Rafa either improves his game or won't remain number one end of the year.

@weej267 I am not top 100. In my city life many former top 40 players and sometimes I practiced with them and we talked a lot and I saw the different between me and the former pro. I am not fit as the other guys. You made one mistake I didn't only mean me, that only I am better than N. I mean that a lot of other tennis player could win or are better than Nadal. I decided either tennis pro, job in an office. My parents hadn't the money to pay the education tennis pro and as a child I wasn't good.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good argument, but it's so vague that it shouldn't be counted. Many high-level tennis players have had world class training, and many have had a better list of professionals working them than nadal's uncle toni, so I'll maintain my argument that nadal is extremely special, like some other top players.
