  • This guy got all of the smallest amounts on his first 3 questions. That sux

  • hit 9 over and over for a vortex around his face

  • Love how the cameraman had to keep panning both ways all the time :D

  • why did they take the chairs away from them and make them stand?

  • This is quite an easy question...anyone with a sense of culture should know that Marius is a character from Les Mis. How the hell do you think you can get a million bucks by answering questions when you don't have cultural knowledge?

There's more to life than academics.

  • I dislike the new format of the show very strongly.

  • I knew that without using any lifelines. :)

  • 1:11 repeatedly for major blow job

  • i want a donut.

  • What the hell why are they standing!? Value of the question!? WHATS GOING ON!?!?!?!?

  • Cocaine's a hell of a drug

  • The contestant didn't snap, he was kidding with her. I love how people misconstrue sarcasm as being completely serious.

  • This is the kind of question on the show now? my generation has ruined it, i apologize on behalf of all teenagers

  • Ha, I knew this one.

  • i knew the anwer before they even had the choices! my family is nick jonas freaks

  • This is REALLY one of those questions that shouldn't be asked...

  • THIS is why they a time limit

  • New format sucks, so much.

  • I hate this format! They should go back to the original format, when $25,000 was $32,000 (and so on), where you had ACTUAL lifelines (not this Jump the Question crap), you sat in the hot seat, you walked away with all your prize money instead of half, the questions went in order, and they had dramatic music. I don't watch it anymore because they changed it beyond recognition.

  • dunno y m sayin this but tat old lady has got such a sexy smile!!!!!!!! love it!

  • 1:10 Was she pretending there was a dick in her mouth?

  • so they can't afford chairs now?

  • Who wants to stand the whole freaking time????

  • This show is not fucked up.

  • ok they ruined this show wtf is this new format??

  • This contestant Eric Linn is the ex-BF of Shandi Sullivan from Cycle 2 of America's Next Top Model

  • @HA1290 I remember that. She cheated on him and he screeched over the phone "YOU HAD SEXXXXXXXX?!?!!!" Still has the squeaky gay voice.

  • I like him

  • I love Regis, but Meredith really is charming.

  • Thumbs up if he looks like Dirk Nowitzki

  • I would hate to have to stand up during this

  • This guy must annoy the cameraman.. wiggle wiggle!

  • the music is good but the old one was better. the hot seat was definitely better than this salad bar looking table. Everything about this new setup looks pretty lame. The old one made the contestant felt pressure and in the spotlight. This one is too casual!

  • @Quy4life I agree. WTF happened to this show? I like the old format better!

  • keep pressing 1:10 for some lulz

  • looks like a redditor

  • @ericthecro Woah man, that place gives you Viruses, don't go there

  • @timobriggs Yeah it'll make you agree with people to conform to the fucking hivemind. It's cesspool of a site

  • @ericthecro wats a redditor?

  • @BeRedIQ A faggot

  • @ericthecro Y that word?

  • lmao @ one of the Jonas Bros having "theater roots."

  • It seems like Meredith does know the answer because she has them in her hands.

  • Question.... Why exactly was this episode done like this? :O

  • @DeltaPhi79 It's the way the game is played in the US now.

  • @mecha03 They got rid of the clock? (I haven't seen it in *FOREVER* so I don't know :()

  • @mecha03 i hate this format

  • @mecha03 We only seem to get charity shows in the UK nowadays, which is cool, but I miss the original.

  • @davemckiernan The UK only tapes celebrity shows now, yeah. Kind of ruins the point of the game but whatever works for them I guess.

  • @mecha03 It looks like it stresses out the contestant more with that style. Cheap bastards.

  • I went to the official site and played this version. I won the million! :)

  • @maanitaman I won it too!!!With my faith in God,some luck and Google :P

  • @director2555 i got it with the same reasons as you

  • @director2555 Faith in God also causes war, starvation, and genocide. How does that work for you? I'm personally very glad that Gawd helped you win something, instead of housing or feeding one of the dozens of homeless in my city. Thank Gawd for that.

  • what happened to the music? i like the old music. they called it "the thinker"

  • No one will ever win a million. Everyone walks away. Bring the original or clock format back!!!!! I feel like I'm wasting my time watching this......they even changed the horn at the end!!!!

  • @realjason4567 It sounds like a vuvuzela to me. Every time the show ends, I feel like Meredith is about to say, "That sound means-GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!"

  • @realjason4567 You are right. This new format is too much. Why can they not go back to what it originally way.

  • @realjason4567 They should bring the original back. The clock format stank because it rushed everybody along, but this format is the pits.

  • No one will ever make it to the upper tier ever again. :(

  • @sunnygrace57 Someone just did.

  • @utubetrollcopycat I know, I saw it! Peter Gallagher was a great contestant. I just got a little upset after 2 weeks with no one making it.

  • Where did you get this Season 9 soundtrack?

  • I like this version. It's a nice change from a format we had going for 10 years. I do miss the clock because it made the game go by faster, but I don't mind hearing contestants speak their mind out during the questions. As for the music, yes, it's not the classic Millionaire dramatic stings (I do like Season 8 and 9's music better), but the cues in this version aren't that bad. The question music has a soothing, yet thought-provoking feel to it.

*HEY, this is better than Millionaire: Hot Seat!

  • Comment removed

  • wtf they ruined millionaire!!

  • @Jake5o2 It's been ruined since 32,000 became 25,000.

  • The new format sucks really bad.

  • @Jakub1POLSKAnew I personally think this is the perfect version for Japan. The Shuffle format is full of excitement and surprises. I think the Japanese will adopt this format if they notice it.

  • He looks like Napoleon Dynamite without glasses.

  • I HATE the new format and everything about it! It sucks!

  • @SooUnOriginal

Give it a chance. The format right before this one wasn't very good, especially after they removed the PAF lifeline, but I think this version has potential.

  • @ChiSportsNut18 Last format was bad too. I just want a regular, plain old show back. Everything gets too much these days. :/

  • Meredith actually DID know the answer without looking at it because afterwards she said she saw Les Miz.

  • "I know the answerrrrr..." oh Meredith, I love you. LOL.

  • God, the old music was so much more suspenseful. Take away the hot seat to make it more "Dramatic" because people "Weren't intimidated by it anymore" and then put in that crappy generic music that isn't dramatic at all. Oy.

  • @CJBojangles some things I get why they took it out, but the music should of been left.

  • Meredith's never explicitly said she knew the answer during the question. I don't think she's supposed to say that.

  • @sunnygrace57 Well, she has the questions and answers on cards now that they don't have the monitor in front of her anymore.

  • @GameShowGamer Incorrect. The cards only have contestant information on them. She still has her information screen like she's always had - it's projected on a giant screen in the unseen archway (the old one contestants used to exit the stage with - and yes, the entire studio can see it and everything on it, including the indicator that tells whether or not an answer is correct)

  • @mecha03 Are you absolutely sure the indicator's there? I heard from a good source that she always wears a very well hidden earpiece. Wouldn't that be a better means to relay the answer?

  • @ArtemissimetrA I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't 100% positive. Coming from people who have been in the audience for tapings and behind the scenes videos.

  • @mecha03 Let's think about this for just one second... what makes you think that the audience can see everything on the screen when they still have an "Ask the Audience" lifeline? Does that make even just a TINY bit of sense to you?

Besides, if you remember, back in the day when Regis was hosting the show, he already mentioned on his day-time talkshow that he had an earpiece in his ear.

  • @BuhGuh28 To answer your question, yes, it makes perfect sense because the answer is never on the screen. Unless the host genuinely knows the answer to the question, they don't know whether it's right or wrong until it's been finalized when a small green spot lights up or not. All game show hosts wear ear pieces so the control room can communicate with them if need be. Check a behind the scenes video to see it all for yourself.

  • @mecha03 Doesn't that mean the contestant can see the answer too?
