Bad things have been happening lately. such as the ingham floods. this duststorm. black sunday. and the occasional earthquake. but really the end of the world?? dont go scaring people. I actually live in ingham and went through the flood and it was bad but everyone expiriences something like that during their life. and i dont like hearing stuff about the end of the world and im sure other people don't either so can we all please stop with the negitive comments
@sillver682 That was from Olympic Dam, the uranium mine, as the co's like BHP don't get rid of the tailings from their unnecessary mine... Nuke power is not needed, wind and solar are better. Unless you put strong regulations on BHP etc, you are dead Australia.
I was out unloading a container all day during this :'( My boss didn't even provide dust masks, my lungs don't feel too good. But meh, what a sight! It turned from blue sky to orange haze in less than an hour! Only wish I had a camera.
im an asthmatic and i woke up when it was like this. couldn't breath thought i was going to die. but its clearing up. thank god. i swear im going to a bed of dust tonight

Don't take them so seriously.
Better to laugh....an then invest in bottled water company shares remebering to sell them before people catch on that the sky is not falling.

It would have been a waste of money being up on South Bank's Ferris Wheel. You wouldn't have seen much. LOL
What an unbelievable force of nature it was.

would of been good to have gotten that on camera

This footage that you captured of the 'invisible city' is great.
I don't think we'll see a dust storm again like this in our life-time.

spur of the moment thing
well...if we travel to other parts of the world where it is more common we might see it again
