  • I can imagine Demise laughing because they think the bullshit is all over.

  • Kikwi - Picori - Kokiri.

    MIND. BLOWN.

  • The Legend Begins NOW!!!!

I knew there always something romatic about zelda and Link

    Demise to Ganondorf

    The Evil Lord are AWESOME!!!

  • crying!!!

  • I know it may sound lame, but... if a thick cloud barrier separates the Surface from the Sky, how are there supposed to be plants and monsters on the Surface without light? And how is Skyloft supposed to recieve water to harvest all those pumpkins?

  • @GanonAkumaFan MAGIC!

  • @GanonAkumaFan simple. magic makes the water never run out.

  • @GanonAkumaFan Nintendo logic.

  • @GanonAkumaFan The Goron, Gorok or something, the one you meet in Faron Woods, he mentions a rumor about how Skyloft is blessed with a never-ending amount of water, never-rotting food, etc.

Honestly, this is the same franchise as Majora's Mask. I stopped trying to apply logic when I fully realized the moon was falling, and it had a face. And a mask was causing it to fall. Trust me, don't even try to apply logic, only insanity can result from that.

  • @Fanghur170 What do you mean, same franchise as Majora's Mask? It's the opposite! In MM, the Skull Kid makes the Moon fall on Termina to kill you, while in SS you are willingly throwing an island in Demise's face to kill him. The same kind of action does the exact opposite of each other!

And one more difference: I loved SS while I hated MM.

  • @GanonAkumaFan Uh, you overlook the fact that Skull Kid (or Majora's Mask) was trying to bring a giant moon down to destroy Termina, but in SS, Link just causes a small uninhabited island to crush a Demon King.

I love SS, but I love MM even more.

  • @H00le0 If you look, the Moon didn't look that big, and its population number was pretty low as well.

And I hated MM for many reasons, the first being the big problem with the dungeons.

  • @GanonAkumaFan The Moon model in the game couldn't actually be the size they intended, due to the limitations of games at the time. Also, it was big enough to kill everyone in Termina, so there's a big difference. The fact that a moon even has a population is astonishing, but they're just 5 mysterious kids.

I'm not sure what you mean by the big problem with the dungeons, unless you mean the number of dungeons, but the mini-quests make up for it.

  • @H00le0 MM dungeon problem: only 4 dungeons, and you can begin the 2nd one without clearing the 1st one. And collecting those fairies doesn't even spawn something essential to the main quest. And don't start me on the sidequests... It is close to impossible to get the FDM.

  • @GanonAkumaFan True, but in the time it takes to get to and beat 1 dungeon is equivalent to the time it takes for 2-3 dungeons in OoT. Collecting the fairies is a sidequest, why must they be essential? The side quests are really fun, and getting the Feirce Deity Mask is actually not that hard.

  • @H00le0 The only mask I REALLY wanted to get was the Bunny Hood, but I had absolutely no idea to get it. And Internet was totally useless. Plus, I don't understand a single thing about Anju and Kafei's quest: you can't even travel back in time once! I just got Kafei's mask and stopped it there...

  • @GanonAkumaFan To get the bunny hood, you gotta blow up the boulder blocking Romani Ranch with a Goron Powder Keg. Then you go into the ranch and play the minigame where you use the Bremen's Mask to get Cuccos to follow you. The Anju/Kafei quest was challenging, but if you look online, it's not too hard.

  • @H00le0 FINALLY, SOME USEFUL TIP! I've waited ages to know it, thanks dude!

  • @GanonAkumaFan No problem, Majora's Mask is actually the only Zelda game that I completed 100% with all items and heart pieces.

  • @H00le0 Me, it's OoT. I've killed all the 100 Skulltulas, I've got the cow delivered in my house after I won the obstacle course at Lon Lon Ranch, I got Biggoron's sword of course, and all the ammo upgrades, all 20 hearts.

  • @GanonAkumaFan Wow, I didn't know you could get a cow delivered to your house. Whenever I play OoT, I can only find enough to make 19 hearts.

  • @H00le0 To get the cow, go to LonLon Ranch as Adult Link after getting Epona, and beat Malon's Obstacle Course either once or twice (It's been ages since I've played OoT, sorry) and she'll give you a present that will be sent to your home.

  • @Fanghur170 Once I get the cow, do I get anything out of the whole side quest? Like a heart piece?

  • @H00le0 Not that I can think of on the top of my head, but you can get milk from any cow whenever you want by playing Epona's Song.

  • @GanonAkumaFan You can also go into the Fire and Water Temples in OoT before beating the Forest Temple. And side quests are there to be fun, not to be essential. That's what makes them 'side'quests.

  • @Fanghur170 I know you can clear the Fire Temple before the Forest, because it doesn't imply the bow. But there is an arrow switch in Water Temple. And I don't think all the sidequest are fun. If not, most of the time I hope I will be rewarded with something useful... Like the FDM, but right now I have only 4 masks: Great Fairy, Kafei, Bremen and Explosive.

  • @GanonAkumaFan Sorry, but the Fire Temple has ONE arrow switch in a strange room from which you can dive to the RC

  • @Lyseolia It has been a long time since I've played this game, but I think you're right. The "standart" order is Forest, Fire, Water, Spirit, Shadow, but you can do like Forest, Water, Shadow Spirit, Fire.

  • @GanonAkumaFan And we can do Spirit before Shadow also. But because we need to pass Forest, Fire and Water before unlocking the Shadow Cutscene, you're order is a little bit innapropriate. But I understand ;)

  • @GanonAkumaFan With the Stray Fairy sidequest, you get more magic, higher defense, something else I can't remember, and the last gives you the Great Fairy Sword, MM's equivalent of the Biggorons' Sword. As for the rest of the masks, you can get the mask of Truth by completing the Swamp Spider House, you need the hookshot, and the Gossip Stones will tell you hints on all the masks.

  • @Fanghur170 Thanks, but I don't have the hookshot yet because I haven't cleared the 2nd dungeon.

  • @GanonAkumaFan At least you know for when you do finish that temple! Also, some Gossip Stones are on the moon at the end of the game, so if you don't have all the masks by then, you might want to go there, find out where the masks are, and go back in time from there.

  • @H00le0 Yes! Another MM lover!

  • @GanonAkumaFan I meant, by the same franchise, that it came from the same people, or at least, the same ideals that created the most illogical game in the series, at least in my opinion. I only used MM as an extreme of lack of logic. Though thank you for pointing out that irony in the series, about the same actions. I wonder if they drew inspiration from MM for that scene...

  • @GanonAkumaFan There are clouds above Skyloft.

  • @H00le0 Very few, compared to the barrier.

  • @GanonAkumaFan My guess is that the barrier is more like a bowl or sphere, and that it's so high up in the sky that from the surface, it would look like a regular cloud. Also, on the island where you learn the songs, it will rain occasionally.

  • @H00le0 Somg of Storms? :P

And I'd rather say bowl than sphere: don't forget you still can see the sky above Skyloft.

  • @GanonAkumaFan Yeah, bowl does sound better.

  • At the end when Link and Zelda's Loftwings leave them, if you pause at the right moment... they're holding hands. :D

  • technically hyrule should be grooseland because groose was the first one to name the surface, how dare you link they better reference groose land again at a point of game

  • @mrvideogamenerd123 No, I'm pretty sure other people go down as well. Remember Groose showing his friends the surface at the end?

  • W-W WAIT? THEY POPULATE THE SURFACE WORLD BY THEMSELVES!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @mrvideogamenerd123 Why do think so many people in Hyrule look and are named after them? Just kidding, but my guess is that the citizens of Skyloft eventually left the sky for the surface.

  • And together they populated the entire surface world.

  • All people are smart.

  • I'm confident the Temple of Time that was blown apart becomes Arbiter's Grounds (the large family crest sort of says that and because we know that Lanayru Desert eventually becomes Gerudo Desert), and the Sealed Grounds becomes the next Temple of Time where the Master Sword is held.

  • wait a second!!!

If you talk to the Headmaster where the isle of the goddess used to be, he says something along the lines of:

"WHEN ALL IS DONE, THE ISLE OF THE GODDESS WILL RETURN"

...at the end , the isle of the goddess doesn't come flying up again!!!

    WTF IS WITH DAT

  • @Ninja52366 It does- after the cutscenes after the game. Presumably.

  • @Ninja52366 He meant the goddess statue will return to the surface.

  • @Ninja52366 The way I see it:

    1. Either it comes back up sometime between SS and minish cap, the confirmed direct sequel, which would explain why the Triforce is nowhere to be found in the following games.

    OR

2."All" is not done, since Demise's conciousness still remains in the sword. It would go up again when nothing of Demis remains, since right now he hasn't been completely destroyed yet.

  • @Darkunov The next game in the series should see the destruction of the Master Sword.

  • @Ninja52366 then its most likely originally part of the surface,so it does return

  • @Ninja52366 i guess he means the isle of the goddess well go back where it used to be which was the surface

  • Zelda: "What about you Link? What will you do?"

    Link: .......

THE WORLD WILL NEVER KNOW HIS RESPONSE

  • @TheBiggamer64 Fap Fap Fap Fap Fap

  • crying

  • Skyward Sword has all the same provinces as Twilight Princess, and there is a City in the Sky above that version of Hyrule, from which all Hyrulians are decended from. So...could that be it? Is the City in the Sky what remains of Skyloft?

  • @TetrimStudios Maybe after defeating Demise, Link and Zelda decided it was time for the Skyloftians to decend and mass produced sailwinds which carried them all down and the proceded to turn the goddess statue into castle town while Groose built cannons to take people back to Skyloft if the chose to.

  • @TetrimStudios Wait a minute...Skyloft denizens are humans with giant pet birds. Oocoos are some kind of mix between human and bird.

    What happened? o.0

  • @Darkunov Well, you see here.... When a man and a bird love each other very much...

  • @Darkunov Perhaps Skyloft denizens get too attached to their Loftwings...

  • @black0193 ewwwww....

  • @black0193 Ok ok - theres that, but what if Loftwings... managed to seduce their masters...? Forcefully.

Why do you think you see Zelda's father in the bathtub every night?

  • @black0193 Oh dear....

  • @Darkunov This made my laugh. But my guess is that the citizens of Skyloft eventually left for the surface, and the Loftwings evolved into the Oocca.

  • @Darkunov evolution

  • @Darkunov they smoked weed and decided to fu*k the birds

  • @Darkunov Looks like we had a bit of cross-breeding.

  • @TetrimStudios My mind is blown....

  • @TetrimStudios Yes, but are the Oocca really the evolved form of the Loftwings?

  • @H00le0 The Oocca are creepy chicken people, right? So... when a man and a giant bird love each other very much... You get a creepy chicken person, I guess.

  • @TetrimStudios Haha, that's a hilarious and disturbing idea, but I doubt that was Nintendo's intention. Then again, past Zelda games have been suspected of hidden meanings and story plots. . .

  • @TetrimStudios Also, Skyward Sword didn't have Snowpeak Province, but besides that, you're right.

  • @TetrimStudios If skyloft is the city in the sky, I for one would like to know WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED? AND WHY ON EARTH IS IT RULED BY HUMAN FACED CHICKENS?!

  • @Mirah2437

The people de-evolved to adapt to the land better for some reason?

  • @Mirah2437 They mated with the Loftwings XDDDD

  • @TetrimStudios YES I'M NOT ALONE!!! I was thinking the same thing a couple days ago!!!

  • @TetrimStudios No, The City in the Sky is kept aloft with mechanical power, Hylia sent up Skyloft with magic.

  • @ragekage209 But, remember that Hylia released her magic on Skyloft at the end of the game, so it would need another source of power to keep it up.

  • Everyone has to remember, Hyrule isn't created for a very long time. Even after the end of Skyward Sword, it's probably another good few thousand years or something until Hyrule is founded.

That's judging by the official timeline anyways.

  • @RaiderNic99 yeah, im guessing the hero of men makes an appearance in that area.

  • My guess is Hyrule is the land beneath Skyloft since the regions are those of Hyrule in Twilight Princess like Eldin, Faron, and Lanayru. The reason why trademark towns like Hyrule Castle Town is not developed is because this is set in the distant past. Hyrule did not evolve to that point yet so the races and civilizations aside from the Ancient Robots are a bit more primitive. This game takes place in sort of Hyrule's Stone Age so to speak.

  • the humans of Skyloft move to the surface which they name Hrule after Hylia and they become Hylians

  • The game never mentioned the word Hyrule.... but wait....

Hyrule...... "Hy" comes from "Hylia" then we add "rule".....

    Hylia Rules....

    The Land where Hilya Rules

    ........

    .....

    ....

    Mother of God

  • @laSSog25 hyrule didnt exist in Skyward Sword

It was between Minish Cap and Skyward Sword when Hyrule was created.

  • The ONLY thing that disppointed me in this game is that link and zelda didn't kiss!

  • I was waiting to hear this song ALL through the game. I miss this original theme... ALttP had it all through that BEAST ARSE Light World... I want it back for the next Zelda. Hyrule Field, gimme the Light World theme!

  • Zelda: "Link...I think I want to live here... What about you? What are you going to do?.."

    Link: :)

    Me: 8'D

  • @VideoGameWalk IMO, Ocarina of Time's forest is a different forest from Skyward because the Great Deku Tree isn't in Skyward.

  • @julex234 what about the giant tree in the middle of the forest in skyward sword. And the giant tree/ forest temple in twilight princess.

It could be that the kikwis from Ss and the smart monkeys from Tp are the changed kokiris from the other games and the giant tree is the great deku tree and just doesn't have a need to talk to the hero like it does in Oot and Ww.

  • @yologdog I think I agree with TP's big tree even though it was located near the Temple of Time, because alledgedly,(in the child timeline), Ganondork is hilariously stopped before he got to do anything. Then he attacks Hyrule, but fails. Maybe during his attack, Ganon destroys(OoT's) Hyrule Castle and Castletown, and the people move to where TP's Castle/town is. It's a longshot, but that would explain why the Temple of Time is far away from TP's Hyrule Castle.

  • @julex234 After taking the time to think about it, that might make sense. The TP Mastersword was in an ancient shrine that looked and sounded like it could have been a remodeled temple of time.

  • @yologdog This is unrelated and might be old, but, did you know that there's supposed to be a third split in the timeline now, and not two anymore? I read that in the third one, during Ocarina of Time, Link fights Ganondorf, but Ganon kills Link. Apparently, the events of A Link to the Past are on this timeline.

I read this on a zeldapedia wiki, so it might not be real...

  • @julex234 It's real, there's an actual book (only in Japanese.. dangit) about the history of Hyrule

  • So, Link, Zelda, and Groose stay on the land and give birth to the Hylians and the Gerudo, while all the Skyloftians turn into those Ooca?

  • @jjilatt123 Groose left.

  • I want this to be played at my funeral :')

  • At the end when Zelda says she is going to stay on the surface, and then asks Link what he is going to do..

    Link - *smiles*

Me - Zelda....Do you even have to ask? :)

  • ~And the Legend of Zelda begins..~

  • This takes me back to ALTTP End Credits...;'3

    Such beautiful games...

  • and so the legend begins, this was the game that started it all :)

  • And the Master Sword sleeps again... forever !

  • @thomi751 Correction, The Master Sword sleeps again...FOREVER at the end of A Link to the Past.. ;)

  • I don't get why Nintendo insisted on using Midi in places, least of all the closing shot of the master sword.

  • Im pretty sure Link stays with Zelda in the end, and I'm pretty sure the Sealed Temple becomes "the" Temple of Time. Do Link and Zelda not stray far from Faron Woods in the end? 'Cause I would assume Hyrule Castle Town is right around the corner later on.

  • @julex234 I guess since the only way out of any of the areas of the surface is by bird, they settle in the Sealed Grounds first. They build Hyrule Castle and Castle Town, and expand into the forest. The Lost Woods is the portion of the forest remaining. Lake Floria becomes Lake Hylia and the Parellas become Zoras. Gorons settle in Eldin Volcano and Mogmas die out (aww...). Eventually Demise's spirit is likely reborn as the Gerudo in Lanayru. Hyrule field comes out of nowhere.

  • @Darkmega354 Maybe the Hyrule Field is Skyloft?

  • @Darkmega354 hyrule feild probably comes from cutting down trees in faron woods for buildings

  • @julex234

I don't know, Link doesn't stay with Zelda, otherwise Link would be Prince in the following games, the Sealed Temple i also think that becomes the Temple of Time for obvious reasons, and i think they actually stay far from Faron Woods, as in Twilight Princess, Faron Woods is close to Ordon and far from Hyrule Castle Town.

  • @Maineutral It's implied that Link stays because when Zelda asks if he will stay, their birds fly off, and Link isn't on it. In Ocarina of Time, Castle Town was right next to the Temple of Time.

But then again, you could be right. Faron Woods wasn't in OoT, unless it was cut down to make Castle Town and Hyrule Castle. Who knows. Maybe TP's Castle Town and Castle are different from OoT.

  • @Maineutral i believe the original link (SS) stays with Zelda, and the two of them help the skyloftians settle on the ground. *time passes* while the family that link and Zelda had is the royal family, link is reincarnated out of the family (so he can marry Zelda all over again)

  • @winkleralexander1 I don't think so, the Link from Twilight Princess, as told by Miyamoto, apparently come by Link of Ocarina of Time having children with Malon from the Lon Lon Ranch, reason why the Link from TP is on a ranch (Ordon).

  • @Maineutral you forget, there is like a 300 year time gap inbetween OoT and TP. That would be plenty of time for Link to be reincarnated out of the Royal Family

  • @winkleralexander1 Link can't be reincarnated out of any family but his. After all, all the Links are descendants of this one, as Demise said before die. How can it be a descendant if he is born out of the family?

  • @Maineutral *shugs* just throwing out a possibility. another possibility that could support what you said is that when Zelda sent link back in time in OoT she took his memories too. So when Link appeared back in the past he fufilled the task the great Deku tree gave him, gave the stone to Zelda, and then left to find a missing part of himself.

  • @winkleralexander1 I'm just saying Link does nothing with the Royal Family, if it did, it would be mentioned along with the Legendary hero tale that is told in OoT, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, etc.

  • @winkleralexander1 :no actually when zelda sent link back in time he told the young zelda about what happens in the future because she doesn´t know anything at her point of time. Afterwards zelda told Link to leave Hyrule with the ocarina of time to prevent ganondorfs evil plan

  • @MrSupahLink sounds the most real out of all predictions, fits with Ganondorfs execution in TP to me, but I do think link had other reasons on leaving Hyrule.

  • @Maineutral Wind waker link is not a descendant, it is mentioned by the king of red lions when he talks to the fishy guy who gives you the last pearl

  • @julex234 I agree with that.

  • @julex234 They could've built a new Temple, as the MS is in the woods in TP, LttP, and I believe a few others. It's in the castle in WW. Of course they also could have moved Castle Town between OOT and TP as in TP it's in the Lanryu area.

  • @julex234 I'm pretty sure the Temple of Time is the Temple of Time.

  • @julex234 if noticed actually hyrule would be right under the skyloft in the uncharted areas, kokiri forest would be the northen part of the faron woods, Death mountain would be southern part of Eldin Volcano and well Gerudo valley would be east of Lanaryu region.

  • @julex234 I think Hyrule castle Town will be in the middle of the world mad, I´m certain that´s where Hyrule Field is.

  • @julex234 it's probable. also, if you see the map, with the desert on the left, the volcano on the top-right and the lake on the bottom, it's even more problable!

  • @julex234 Well when Skyloft falls...you probably get the rest.

  • @julex234 The Temple of Time and the Sealed Temple share some similarities, indeed. They both feature high ceilings, a sword pedestal, and the Door of Time (but not in the same pattern). And probably some part of Faron Woods in converted into Hyrule Castle Town, while the rest "moves" to create Kokiri Forest. Lake Floria would get a longer river, which would become Zora's River and Zora's Domain.

  • @julex234 yeah, they build the starting of the hyruler castle town. thank u for answering my question

  • @TyraelZx I highly doubt they start building what will be Castle Town. There are still a few eras before Hyrule is even founded. So I'm pretty sure the Link and Zelda in Skyward Sword have nothing to do with Hyrule.

  • @julex234 The Sealed Temple does become the Temple of Time and where the Triforce rest and Ocarina of Time is when it was rebuild.

  • @julex234 So what about the temple of time that already exsisted during that time?

  • @BreezeOfTehBread Someone said it's the top of the Arbitor's Grounds from Twilight Princess.

  • I beat the game I do not remember hearing this song.

  • @mistergamer9791 When they return to the present and Impa vanishs and the door starts to open and they see the Master Sword....

  • ALTTP! :D you can hear it! Skyward Sword: BEST ZELDA GAME EVARRRRR! X3

  • * Salutes the Computer*

  • Winston Churchill would be proud.

  • It sounds kind 0:32 sounded like the great sea.

  • @hungryhungrymetroid i think it was a snippit of it

  • @hungryhungrymetroid

And a piece of Hyrule Field

  • huh?
