Well, kept hitting us with the boats, not. Purpose, it was like a chain reaction. We only did the stop thing because the ride was backed up for a bit. And a boat went up one at a time.
I got stuck when we JUST started going up. Then people in the back of us kept hitting us, LOL, it got annoying after 3 minutes, and we started going up. :D
@Hi9045 Dont you know simple science....gravity would have taken them down...plus theres nothing mechanical that could break down when your going down the fall.
I got stuck once directly after getting on when it first goes up. It was funny because there was a person riding alone in front of us and we thought he was fake because not only was he not moving, he was wearing hillbilly clothes (the theme of the ride). I THREW SOMETHING AT HIM AND HE LOOKED BACK.

I was stuck in the exact same spot as you. In 2009. We ended up getting evacuated. Then everyone got a Fast-Pass. I went on it with my Aunt, and she was having a fit. We were stuck there for 15 minutes, then her phone started ringing. It was my parents asking where we were. LOL
I remember when i was really really young, me & my friends got stuck on tht part too & we were all like "YAY THE BIG FALL" *ride stops* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! DX we were unhappy girls >.<

I was on this one time when it broke down to, except we were at the boat scene at the end so we had to step into different logs until we reached a point where we could evacuate.

@DaMan869 YOu do have to realize that the Disneyland rides are older. And anyways, I wouldn't give up my Disneyland for anything. It's the magic kingdom. None of the other parks are any good.

How strange, on my recent trip to Disney World, I got stuck RIGHT UNDER THE VULTURES. And also next to the scene where Brer Fox had Brer Rabbit by the ears. I was so close, I could have touched it (which I did) he he.

I just got back from Disney. We went on Splash Mountain for the first time and it got stuck and we waited inside the building for 90 minutes because they didn;t have a machanic on the job. The intercom kept repeating the same thing over and over again and everyone started booing the ride. It was horrible!!!

It's okay folks it happens all the time and to answer your question "elizaduchkufanatic41" nope no one can get stuck on the big drop it's a free flowing area they go down the hill then the log stops when it gets to another belt or gets stuck behind another log =)
every time i my mom rode something with me, it would break! this one got stuck, the mine ride, the buzz light year one, the finding nemo one.. it was so funny cos they have those recordings of the characters reassuring you telling to stay in your seat in their funny voices..we were only stuck for a few mins tho
try being stuck on small world in the Hawaii section for over 2 hours.... they didn't even realize they had a boat missing from the holding area until someone found us screaming for help....

but we had to wait for about one hour to let the ride get fixed and to have us let out...never go to finish this ride only like 15 seconds before we were going to be let out the ride breaks down again and we get sent right before the log exiting place...went on it again just to see YAY IT IS BROKEN DOWN AGAIN!

I got stuck on it right by the big grand finale boat! I was soaked! We were there for like 30 minutes. The eventually stopped the music. Another time we got stuck right after the big drop on the turn. We were only there for like 10 minutes that time.
that happened to me a couple of years back. we had just passed the big drop and in that room at the end when all the characters are singing. we were stuck a long time because they had to get the other people out first

i was at six flags and we were on the pin weel i think thats what its called. i took me up to 500 ft and got stuck we were on the ride for three hours they called about 30 paramedics and the ride started to shake but afterwords everything was ok. it was the scariest moment of my life lol.

I got stuck there, and I also got stuck right before the second drop. We watched Br'er Bear's butt for a good 30 minutes.

I just got back from Disney. We went on Splash Mountain for the first time and it got stuck and we waited inside the building for 90 minutes because they didn;t have a machanic on the job. The intercom kept repeating the same thing over and over again and everyone started booing the ride. It was horrible!!!

I got stuck on splash moutian 2 times and they bsaid " ber fox and ber bear were causing some kamotion down streem. Please stay in yer boats while we take care af things" we went on 11 times. i sat in the front every time

lol that happen to me like on my band trip for the compitetion lol and i rode this by myself and 4 random people and we got stuck with like 6 more logs behind us and 2 in front lol But GOOOD ride and worth it waiting with fastpass

It's okay folks it happens all the time and to answer your question "elizaduchkufanatic41" nope no one can get stuck on the big drop it's a free flowing area they go down the hill then the log stops when it gets to another belt or gets stuck behind another log =)

Do you know if there were people who got stuck right in the middle of the big drop? LOL

every time i my mom rode something with me, it would break! this one got stuck, the mine ride, the buzz light year one, the finding nemo one.. it was so funny cos they have those recordings of the characters reassuring you telling to stay in your seat in their funny voices..we were only stuck for a few mins tho

try being stuck on small world in the Hawaii section for over 2 hours.... they didn't even realize they had a boat missing from the holding area until someone found us screaming for help....

my brother and i were on this ride, we were stuck like two logs before the exit and we waited for 30 to 45 mins, the crew wouldn't let us off

yes we did, but right at the end it broke down and the crew kept saying u will get off 15 mins but later, they said to wait for another 15 mins.

ya but we got stuck like 3 seconds after the drop started

but we had to wait for about one hour to let the ride get fixed and to have us let out...never go to finish this ride only like 15 seconds before we were going to be let out the ride breaks down again and we get sent right before the log exiting place...went on it again just to see YAY IT IS BROKEN DOWN AGAIN!

this ride is pretty kool. except for the singing animals. they r cute... but annoying. the big drop is FUN!!! i sat front row, and got really really really SOAKED ALL OVER. lol!?!?!?!

I got stuck on it right by the big grand finale boat! I was soaked! We were there for like 30 minutes. The eventually stopped the music. Another time we got stuck right after the big drop on the turn. We were only there for like 10 minutes that time.

that happened to me a couple of years back. we had just passed the big drop and in that room at the end when all the characters are singing. we were stuck a long time because they had to get the other people out first

i was at six flags and we were on the pin weel i think thats what its called. i took me up to 500 ft and got stuck we were on the ride for three hours they called about 30 paramedics and the ride started to shake but afterwords everything was ok. it was the scariest moment of my life lol.
