They won't let him stop improving and he'll always have top people to train with (other champions and top contenders). You're right about Fedor. He never trained with the caliber of people today's champions train with (because they train with each other).

During this fight there were many times when Rampage should have just let his hands go and that's where i think rashad and now HENDO will try to do. Thing with Henderson is that he has to be fast enough to side step and get it to throw that right and I don't think he's fast enough. But yea, Jones don't have much chance of knocking alot of people out in top ranks.

@eLLgoo82 , Hendo doesnt have the speed or the reach to get this kid. Jones will neutralize Hendo on the ground, not giving him much in which to submit him. So Hendo will be a poor choice and I actually think he will get knocked out, because as bad as Fedor is, he almost dropped Hendo, had he been smarter and trained a bit more up-to-date he would have beaten Hendo easily. Hendo ain't shit if pressed. The only ones i see possibly getting him is Rashad and maybe Machida but i still have doubts.

@TheFiNALDEST1NATiON Why not use what you can (within reason) to win a fight? Don't downplay the talent of Jones. I'll give you that Rampage is a great striker, but just like the commentary during the fight and Jones stated that all he has to worry about was Rampage's hands. Shogun is a better fighter than Rampage and he took the title from him.

Jones put on one hell of a good performance, Rampage was all talk and just couldn't hang with the guy. But that said I don't think Jones isn't going to WTF dominate like everyone thinks. I honestly believe that a good Muay Thai striker could beat him if they attack the legs and remove his vertical base. Get the kid on his back and see how he does. Or actually try to close the distance instead of being flat footed like 'page was. Machida was a bigger nut to crack to be honest.

They won't let him stop improving and he'll always have top people to train with (other champions and top contenders). You're right about Fedor. Fedor's problem is once he won the Pride title; his management began ducking top contenders. He never trained with the caliber of people today's champions train with (because they train with each other).

Knew it..... Rampage is too slow and only knows how to move forward. I was really hoping Rampage would win too.. It's crazy because Jones fight game isn't too hard to figure out. All he does is utilize is long lanky body by throwing straight strikes and leaning back and backing up when being attacked. Rashad or Machida seems to be the only ones that has the best tools to win.

@tman229 Exactly what i was thinking during this fight. If a striker can keep it standing they will have a good chance. During this fight there were many times when Rampage should have just let his hands go and that's where i think rashad and now HENDO will try to do. If hendo trains his ass off for the championship fight, i have no doubt in him winning. I honestly don't think Jones can rock or drop hendo with straight and will have to throw big hooks. Hendo will chase and throw H-BOMBS.

@eLLgoo82 Rampage could of probably ran threw Jones several times when Jones kept throwing that roundhouse but instead he kept being station or trying to back out of it's range. Thing with Henderson is that he has to be fast enough to side step and get it to throw that right and I don't think he's fast enough. But yea, Jones don't have much chance of knocking alot of people out in top ranks.

@tman229 It's possibly rashad may win, i've never doubted rashad from a fight. Even though he beat a old tito, he still looked good coming back from injury. If rashad isn't afraid to attack when its a good opportunity then i think rashad may be able to win that fight.

@eLLgoo82 , Hendo doesnt have the speed or the reach to get this kid. Jones will neutralize Hendo on the ground, not giving him much in which to submit him. So Hendo will be a poor choice and I actually think he will get knocked out, because as bad as Fedor is, he almost dropped Hendo, had he been smarter and trained a bit more up-to-date he would have beaten Hendo easily. Hendo ain't shit if pressed. The only ones i see possibly getting him is Rashad and maybe Machida but i still have doubts.
