  • sorry but what is with the music why could you not just show the thunderstorm???

  • Beautifuls lightnings, but the music is shit...

  • The music is shit for this movie

  • remember this, it was amazing i was in tesco and it got really dark outside, when i was paying for my food the lightingflashed and when the boom the came the lights went out for like 5 seconds, when i walked out the doors, the rain was pouring down so hard it was kinda scary as that was the first time i saw something like that, so many peoples car alrams were going off in the carpark.

I waited in the shop for like half an hour

  • stop adding music to this videos

  • I was out in this, took shelter under an overhanging roof thinking "i'll just stay here for 20 minutes".....

3 hours & several aborted attempts to get home later, i decided to chance it.....just finished crossing a small field about to cross the street, then BOOM, all i saw for the next couple of seconds was a neon green colour....i actually thought i died, until car alarms started going off all around me....

I'm never going out in a storm again...

  • This line of thunderstorms formed in the midlands, and pushed eastwards across Hertfordshire, because the air is slightly warmer in the east, the thunderstorm started creating tornadoes, i was in my garden at the time and saw the clouds directly above my house started to spin round, a few minutes and a few kilometres away when the clouds were moving away, a tornado started to touch down, really was fantastic. A day later we heard that a village only a mile away was affected by hail, we go nothin

  • nice shots...and a steady camera, that makes a change.

  • @anikunia do you live in america?

  • Just to think storms like this are getting more frequent due to climate change.... although people would rather get on with their ignorant lives.

  • Some nice lightning there!!!! What video camera do you currently use? The quality looks great so i'm guessing its a HD.

I think most HD video cameras have a rolling shutter This isnt so great for lightning sometimes as it tends to "cut" some bolts in half especially in slow motion, for example check out the bolt at 31seconds. Great work though!!!!

  • Yes this is HD

    I used a Sony Handycam HDR-SR10e

thanks for watching and the comment

  • The graphics you use in your intro are great.

Im wondering what software you use to freeze the frames, ~ I only have access to WMM and it doesnt catch all the frames, imparticular with small strikes.

    Great video !!

  • I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0

Thanks for watching and the comment :)

  • i remember this storm

  • its so wierd because they look so fake!

Nature is a wierd, but wonderful thing

  • Great video!

  • Thanks

  • Wow i must say that is one impressive storm!!! 5/5

Do you usually get big thunder storms over there in the UK? The one at 0:33 looks awesome.

  • Thanks for the comment!, Well we hardly have a big thunder storms here in the UK, and usually there is only one big one per year, but this year there has been 2 in the same month.

Generally though we don't really get storms. :)

  • OMFG!! SICKK TRACKK!!! wOo0¬!!=¬)

  • very awesome man I always love watching storms :) 5/5

  • Thanks Jon

  • Awesome, 5/5 stars! Well done!

  • Thankyou

  • Cool - I filmed some lightning yesterday but only managed to capture one CG shot. That storm lasted 4 hours here in NW London. It developed from very little but not surprised due to very high CAPE values and a good Lifted Index. I will upload a video later.

  • Ok, Yeah here it lasted for ages, after the storm had blown past us It starting hailing and raining really bad!

Then the wind changed direction and came back past us, and started thundering/lightning while it was hailing.

    Quite terrifc storm

  • If you are interested in storms and weather etc check out Met-Monkey - It is a weather site with a forum community - we post forecasts etc so can predict storms like these..

  • cool, I might have a look

  • yeah that was yesterdaY - it was scary

  • Yeah

  • An excellent video! You've got a great view for watching storms because you can see all the lightning without getting buildings or houses in thw way unlike me :(

Still, I do capture some pretty good lightning it's just when I see flashes of it behind houses I can get quite annoyed! You have got some great strikes in this video, very close ones too at times! I got a video of some Lightning I got from last night that I may upload soon.

  • Great!, love to see them!

  • This was very cool man.. adding it as a favorite on my other channel 5 Stars

  • Thankyou
