Trent Reznor recorded a nine inch nails album,I beleive "Pretty Hate Machine" at the Tate house right before it was tore down.

@plofus Actually it was downward spiral and fixed and broken. pretty hate machine was done in middle 80s in cleveland, ohio at a studio that he worked as a janitor in. after downward, fixed and broken, he moved to new orleans. cheers.

Thanks for the video. One small correction; the killers actually came over the back side of Benedict Canyon, along Mulholland Drive. They avoided Sunset because of traffic and people on a Friday night, and Tex knew the way to the Cielo property by coming up the back way.
