vanilla was not just harder than WotLK, it was MUCH harder...

a friend of mine which was a BC raider just came back to the game, after overwhelmed a "Light of Dawn" titled raider by 60% in dps when we doing bwd, he just said: "so they only need 60% of my skill to get LK25hm down huh". He didn't get a chance to get to higher tier than T5 back in BC...not to mention that vanilla was even harder than BC lol.

@zonefrost For about 6 months ago, half a year with other words, I fell in love with one of the tracks from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Submerged Temple to be exact. I wanted to play WoW with that track in the backround without having to keep minimizing WoW and press the replay button so I googled like "how to replay a youtube video" or something and found that out :D

@Windius It's all easy when you are running with a competent group. Just about every fight is about good placement and spacing. If the boss isn't placed correctly, it's an instant wipe. On encounters that call for it, if everyone isn't spaced out properly, it calls for a wipe. If you master these two mechanics, well, everything is easy.

I recently found out this song is also used towards the end of Maraudon Purple Crystals. I've been going there on my Warrior tank and just happened to have the music on; when I heard this tune it just put me in the zone.

@Windius hehe can't help it, I still remember the pain very well as I played a hunter back then, so my job was pulling an kiting, which was especially hell-ish in old world naxx, as anytime I'd go to pull it'd be like. "Okay... get em off." *dead.* "Pulling. *Pew.* taunt, taunt! TAUNT!!!" *Dead.* 2-3 days and several repairs later (as my guild did only a few hours a night over several days) I got to laugh at them as they got turned into giant sheep :3 haha

@Windius if you think icc has no chalenge kill 25 hm lk, without buff if you can. i did it and belive me you need perfect tanking, healing ,hardcore dps, well made tactics and of course one single mistake is a wipe. one raid should have one single mode and that`s hard mode.

Besides killing him without buff if you are just boored and want to do something you are suposed to be buffed thats the point with the spells. Back in the Classic Days, if your guild were able to reach the old Naxx, you were top dog. It took the most hardcore determination one could muster. I've heard a lot of traditional hardcores complain about how watered down the game got for casuals, particularly gear accessibility.

Great memories come up when seeing this. I miss the hard core 40 man content. The game is simply too easy nowadays. It's so gimped, like watching special olympics.

Ofcourse blizzard still does a great job with the new content etc, but it's not challenging anymore.

@kontknager sorry to be a bitch, but 40 man raiding was basically 25 man raiding. Why? Cause at léast 20% of the ppl was afk. A few dc's here, a few ppl that lagged so hard that they where useless... I'll grant you that 40 man raiding was cool, but most of it wasn't rly 'hard'... TbC was way better imo =P

From a musician's point of view, very rarely do you hear music with mixed meter as crazy as this.
