  • Question. Some of those aircraft look like they came right out of the Air Force Museum collection! Does the museum still fly some of these planes?

  • The bright pale yellow biplane is a Swedish made Thulin O1. It's not actually a World War One airplane. The machine was originally designed and built in 1919 as a trainer for the expanding Swedish air force. The Fokker D.VII in the video is painted as the yellow nosed version used by Lt. Lothar von Richtofen, brother of Manfred.

  • 1:07-1:16 is a Fokker D VII, 3:00-3:14 is a SE5a, but the light yellow plane i'm not sure

  • The big rugged plane with the yellow nose surely is a Fokker D-7.
